I am joined by Alex from Switzerland as we head over to one of our favourite gold mining sites here in New Zealand. Despite this specific area being absolutetly hammered we still managed to pull out some nice gold nuggets/pickers with the Equinox800 and the new GPX6000!

Yep for sure, in fact right across from us for part of the video two snipers were sniping (channel by the name of Kiwi gold sniper) they have found ounces and ounces out of that river sniping before so it’s definitely the way to go there! Big nuggety chunky gold too and very few heavy’s so good for sniping!

Good day on the river sluicers, well done. I'm sure you're pleased with the 6000 and will ping plenty of targets in the future. I've gone with the 2300 for NZ as I can use the detector completely under water.

Cheers thanks a heap bro! Yeah definitely honestly maybe an SDC may have been better as it’s more portable, a lot cheaper (still a pricy machine though) virtually indestructible and fully waterproof, however judging from tests I watched the GPX got much smaller gold when the sdc often couldn’t even pick up 1/10th of a grammars and it also went significantly deeper so it was a real hard decision, honestly both would be ideal 😂, but yeah the SDC is probably better suited for Nz your right. Thanks a heap for watching
