@@wapiti3750 Well it depends if they are invested in bullion or miners or juniors etc. But yeah, the last 4 months have at least trended in the right direction. But a lot of juniors are now only at the same level they were at a year ago, when silver was at $26! I'll give you a hint, they are in Mexico and Peru, and are not the big boys, but are producing.

@@colinbroos5176 Thank you for reminding me of that. You are absolutely correct. I agree with you. And I will consider that to be constructive criticism that I hope I can learn from. I am 99.98% of the time a very positive person. I have no reason to be otherwise. We all slip at times. Mea Culpa! I guess I just don’t belong on this KZfaq site . I wish the subject matter were easier to understand because the fact is that I know absolutely nothing about gold and silver or precious metals. I take my hat off and defer to anyone who knows and fully understands this very complex subject. An understanding that escaped me because I didn’t understand a single pompous word that Rick said. Rick needs to decide whether he wants to be the messenger or the message. If he could reflect on that alone and then practice the virtue of humility a bit better, he would probably be OK . Perhaps it was that because I could not understand his words that I noticed his pompous statements and rude mannerisms more. I don’t know why I found him to be so abrasive. It’s possibly just that I think that someone who goes on KZfaq to try to teach his or her knowledge to others, is a very special person to care enough to share that knowledge. But with that desire to share knowledge also comes a responsibility on his part. Even more so than normal people because he is setting himself up to be an expert and people cling to his every word, and they depend on what he says more than if they were listening to a common lay person . Therefore, I hold him to a higher standard, and think that he should spend that time teaching his audience in a way that everyone can understand - from the greatest person in the room to the least. instead of bragging about how much he knows, how clairvoyant and how wealthy he is. And if he is so smart, then he should have the ability to include everyone , including people who he feels are inferior to him and his vast storehouse of knowledge. If he wants to do that, he can just buy a mirror and enjoy himself forever. The thing that got me the most is that every time the host opened his mouth and asked a legitimate question, Rick totally talked over him and demeaned him and acted as if he were too knowledgeable to answer such unimportant questions. He never did answer most questions in full. Instead, he elevated himself to the pristine peeks of righteousness. And since I obviously don’t belong here, I will graciously bow out and take my leave with an apology to you, Collin. However, I will continue to watch @soarfinancially because I learn things from him and I like his down to earth personality, his honesty, and his general demeanor. I like that he attempts to include all of his audience and not just the select few that Iare very involved in whatever topic is discussed. Rik is just not my type. And there is nothing wrong with that because there are different types of people in the world and none of us responds to everyone positively or negatively. We mostly respond to those we understand. And try as we may, none of us responds positively to everyone no matter how happy we may or may not be. It is not an issue about happiness. Happiness involves God. People are not unhappy because of a website. “Joy is the infallible sign of the presence of God”__Pierre Teilhard de Chardin And The novelist Leon Bloy understood that It is love brought about by joy that is “the most infallible sign of the presence of God. “

With a dollar dwindling in value, to hold it as cash in any great amount will result in unacceptable losses. Stocks in general will get slammed when dedollarization accelerates, and only a certain select few miners will do well, so precious metals right now are a safe place to be IMHO.

Gold/USD is never going down. Just look at the history chart if you don’t believe. Silver has more upside because 1) it is suppressed/manipulated in western markets 2) it has more industrial utility AND is also money.

It's a game that's going to end badly, and maybe the banks know this. And they either have instructions to drag this out or they just can't admit they were wrong (turning unrealized losses into realized losses).

I have a lot of silver been buying it since last year that I hear of the silver/gold ratio was already wrong so imagine the price of silver if metals all go up because of inflation and use case like silver being used in solar panels and electric cars . There’s gonna be a huge silver demand that no one could meet and that’s when it sky rockets

At a time that people are overweight and long NVIDIA (!) I find it strange that Rick Rule is telling people not to get overweight silver. How much lower could it go, than it has been in the last 2 years? Honestly? And I include juniors and miners in that.

so many of these interviews are seriously sick. there is no evidence that gold and silver will reach these dizzy heights. Just weeks ago, all interviews were saying gold and silver was in a serious Bull market and all prices would soar. Interviews like this one are nothing but self serving, attempting to cause panic buying and when the market prices rises, these people who are heavily invested in gold and silver, sell of and dump their metal causing the price to drop. Gold Silver are long term investment

Always long term, yes. However, given extreme devaluation of the currency due to inflation and competition from BRICS (+), this period is different. There are important reasons every central bank in every country is buying.

As an investor in precious metals for nearly 25 years, this can be tough especially with mining equities. Entry point. stock selection, inclusion of physical into portfolio need to be managed and you need to get that right to some extent. Many people do not have what it takes to sit through sentiment extremes, substantial drawdowns from peak value and the patience to let things unfold. Rick is right. Does anyone really want a world where gold is $8000.? To get there there has to be a lot of bad stuff happen and the consequences will not be that great for most people. You will probably be OK and better off than most. but it is not necessarily a world you end up liking that much. Thinks of where some of your friends and family may be situated for starters.

Bad news: I’m female and I watch this stuff, but of the 16 Meyers/Briggs personality types, divided by sex, I am among the INTJ females, the rarest type, about one in a thousand. You’ll have quite a few more INTJ males, I suspect (many libertarians, engineers, physicists, math teachers, programmers, and architects). I was attracted to the more social (feminine?) sciences of communication (marketing, education, peace negotiation) and valuation (economics, trade, limited government). Dispute resolution and avoidance. I’m afraid there are more Sensates in the world than iNtuitives, so reaching the Sensates probably requires dropping a real coin into their hands, and not just talk about mining cycles and fiat currencies. And I don’t think they will ever trust Bitcoin (tangible wealth is required by the majority). Gold rings are popular with the Sensate females.

I work with predominantly females and all of them are negative when I talk about investing or trading. Women are generally much more risk averse than men so that’s part of the reason but generally not interested in the stock market..More interested in feeling type things and aesthetics etc

@@paulsteen7641 I think we do divide our loyalties more than men, otherwise we'd have to choose between children and/or mate. But I'm not typical regarding "feeling" and aesthetics. I don't like trading, but I do like being invested. For me, I'm mostly interested in communication and non-violence which I approach in a scientific manner. Economics combines them into a complex problem! Wars are always economic, and so totally unnecessary if the King would just stop taxing tea.
