Hi Miss. Im just wond'ring why is it so expensive in the Phils? Dito sa Malaysia it costs only 17rm x 12php. Thats the cost. And yes, i did buy the genuine ones. Thank u for your review and video. Thanks for the detailed review. I wouldn't worry too much about expiration dates on this kind of product. They can only ever be a guideline and if the product still looks stable, and still seems to be working, it's probably still good to use up.

Hello! Thanks for the video, very helpful. I wonder if your skin is as sensitive as mine and if the first use or use in general causes an itchy sensation. Because I have the same product and it doesn't give me that itchy sensation like they say retinols are supposed to have. I checked the original invoice from the person who brought it in from Sephora, but I still have my doubts about how smooth it feels on my skin despite having sensitive skin.

Another must try Retinol product is from the Inkey list. It's gentle, absorbs quickly, non-irritating, and doesn't smell funky unlike most TO products :))

I have just used TO Granactive retinoid 2%, about 6-7 times now. At first, my skin would look weirdly very dry as if the skin looked pulled up, but not dry to the point of flaking.. So I started to religiously applied moisturizer day and night after realizing my skin became dry. Because I have naturally normal/dry skin. Then after some (short) time, I noticed that my skin doesn't look dry anymore, but instead the surface of the skin looks smooth and glossy, like the shiny surface of clean glass when light hit the surface 😍 That's a good surprise, because I don't remember my face looked that way before

This is a great starter retinoid and could be used with a basic hydrating cleanser, toner and moisturiser for a complete skincare regime. As your skin builds up tolerance you can switch to products with gentle actives like Olay Retinol 24 to amp up the effects. Been using it that way for the past 6 months and so far I'm loving the results. My skin is much more even with acne scars and lines on my forehead noticeably reduced. It's my winning combo 😁😁

Hello!! Using hyaluronic acid moisturizer 30 minutes Before retinol will help protecting your skin and may help the retinol performance. Niacinamide is a great combination too, take a look on those!! It’s worthy!!

@myous hey it has been 9 days since I have been applying the ordinary granactive retinoid emulsion 2 percent. My skin has turned a bit darker in cheek and forehead area. I use 3 drops on face every night. Did you experience your skin turning dark too? Prior to starting this, I had glowing, problem free skin without wrinkles or anything. But suddenly the glow is gone and skin has turned a bit darker. My skin type is dry

Watching this after literally damaging my skin barrier with this product and had the worst purging stage. I had to stop using it after 2 weeks and switched to 0025% Tretinoin. The purging started to calm down a bit. But, it was one decision I regret so much! Lols

@@archanabakshi8140 Do you use sunscreen in the morning? Retinoid makes your skin way more sensitive, so try to protect it from the sun with enough amounts of sunscreen and reapply every 2 hrs in the morning. Hope this help ☺️

Copied this from their website. “The Ordinary Tip: Start with Retinol 0.2% in Squalane and slowly work your way up to Retinol 0.5% in Squalane and Retinol 1% in Squalane. That said, if you are prone to sensitivity, you may prefer to use newer retinoid technologies, such as those found in our Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion.” Best to check their official website. So what is the difference between the Granactive 2% Emulsion and the 2% Granactive in Squalane? The difference between both the products is simply the consistency and formula. The potency of retinoid complexes are the same. The Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane is a lightweight solution and absorbs into the skin efficiently, allowing for multiple serums to be applied in your regimen. Squalane also has the added benefit of being an exceptional hydrator. The Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion is milky/creamy in consistency and is also hydrating. It is a great option for anyone who is not comfortable with oil-like consistencies.

My skin has turned a bit darker in cheek and forehead area. I use 3 drops on face every night. Did you experience your skin turning dark too? Prior to starting this, I had glowing, problem free skin without wrinkles or anything. But suddenly the glow is gone and skin has turned a bit darker

With my understanding po, dapat i-consume or gamitin ito within 3 mos lang from the time na binuksan mo ang product. Nasa box po mismo ng products makikita ang indicator until when lang dapat gamitin after opening.
