Literally called it here after Liverpool's game. Result against us does not matter if your players won't put the same amount of effort against Brentford. How many times did that happen ? Players give a 100% against tougher opposition and in the next game against someone like Brentford you decide not to run anymore. And some of you still want to get the manager out before getting rid of players like Rashford who is the head of that player power. Some of you defended Rashford for his Belfast/Dublin incident which wasn't first time it happened with him. Joke

With united it's not effort, its pure luck. Brentford hit the post 3-4 times, how not one went in.. They didn't play any better against us, we battered em over 90mins like Brentford did, they just get 1 lucky chance and score

@ashwilliams4959 liverpool did not have so many clear opportunities. Did you watch the whole games ? Both of them ? You can see that clearly thay put half of effort in everything in today's game comparing to the game against us. They are lucky all season, from the first game against wolves that they somehow won being dominated whole game until today. They show up in games against us, sometimes even city (used to happen more with ole and jose) so it's not pure luck. They should've lost this game by two or more goals, the.fact they didn't is lucky. Win against us didn't have anything to do with them.being lucky

@@CeeRZet liverpool were a lot more leggy tbf if you noticed, united took over after 90mins.. admittedly there's more energy in a big game with a pumping crowd, that's to be expected but it's not like they're all of a sudden a great team against bigger sides. In games they're not expected to win, they're under less pressure and it's pressure they can't handle

I think this united should play a 4 - 3 - 2 -1 Hojlund Garnacho Rashford Fernandes Mainoo Mount Bissaka Martinez Varane Dalot 1. Instruct Mainoo exclusively play defensive midfield - do not get caught up and out. Play back like Rice does for England. 2. Instruct Mount also exclusively play defensively. Specifically his job is to track the trailing runner when opposition cuts back from the touchline (our biggest goals allowed play). 3. Both can help us play out from the back. 4. Instruct Rashford to play on the right wing, because he is no longer a threat to cut inside. Thus, it helps the team more for him to get to the end line and cross in early balls to opposite wing. 5. Garnacho on left wing allows him to cut in for a shot with more control that Rashford lacks, while enabling him to cut to end line. 6. Have Hojlund improve his first-touch and shielding for back-to-the-goal link-up play. -McTominay is an impact sub - he's good for scoring scrap goals when the game has loosened up; in early phases he limits progressive play and honestly is not a disciplined defender tracking players back (he believes his role is to score goals). -Casemiro is not the player he once was. He is a liability defensively. -Erikson should sub for Bruno regularly around the 70th minute. Erikson brings more control, precision, and patience to break down stubborn defenses. Push Mainoo to the #10 and let Erikson play out from alongside Mount.
