From a portuguese fan, this is how I felt last year with Fernando Santos! So many players on that pitch have the ability to cross the ball, dribble, shoot, win headers and you see nothing of that, it's so frustating! The two games vs Ireland felt a lot like this England game, a lot of half-chances and the chances created are easily dealt with by defenders, you can clearly see there's a lack of patterns of play which is not understandable at all with these players

Nicely objective, the second yellow was definitely not warranted. In any case, as a Hungarian this performance by our team was so elevatinng. No BS just full on desperation. England for sure lacked any desparation, so we balanced it out with passion. I know it's pretty much a friendly one, but still these guys show us what desire can do to performance.

Mauricio Pochettino as the next England manager! Makes a lot sense to me. For the same reasons why I backed him for the United job. Just came from managing a star studded team. Full of big egos. Ok it hasn't gone that greatly for him. But it seemed like cards were stacked against before even taking the job. Apart from PSG. He used to working with the team he has with limited backing. More than a decent man manager. He asks for high-pressing and attacking style of football. Polar opposite to Southgate. And thats what we need. Whether or not he would take the job is another thing. But he should be the 1st choice IMO.

Any normal fan knew Southgate was never going to be the right man, yes we did well in the last two Tournaments. Its just I was being real, we had a very easy route in both Tournaments. When we came up against a decent team, like Italy or Croatia, we were found out. Don't get me wrong, if England had won the Euros or World Cup, I would of been ecstatic. I wouldn't of cared who we played, its just about winning it. Looking at the bigger picture, we knew we didn't play very well in some of them games. We were just lucky, they were not one of the big teams. Southgate is just like other boring England managers in the past, always playing it safe with their line ups. Why not be attacking, play like Liverpool or City, go at teams, pressure them from the front. Stop with this stupid 2 sitting midfielders. Maybe don't give a Manager the job, who has never done anything in management. I think England should play a 5 at the back, so you can have Kyle Walker in the back 3. Then his pace will protect the back line, have Magurie or Dier, with Stones. Then you can have Trent as a right wing back, Saka as a left wing back. Play Mount and Rice in the middle, Kane up top. With Foden and either Greallish or Sterling at either side. So you have the pace at the back, with Kyle Walker. Then you get 2 attacking wing backs in Trent and Saka pushing on. Have just one defensive midfielder in Rice, then have Mount pushing forward. Then use Foden and either Grealish or Sterling closing down the ball and Kane ready to pounce. It won't happen with Southgate in charge, why? because he is too Defensive minded and would never play that attacking. That is where England go wrong and will always go wrong. Until you get a manager who is willing, to take risks. We already messed it up with the last generation, where any normal manager would of played a different system. To accomadate Gerrard, Scholes and Lampard, until then we won't win anything. Just remember this, no English Manager has ever won the Premier League, let that sink in.
