It's a penalty because Neuer in desperation kicked his leg out catching Saka. Saka had no way of knowing what Neuer was doing, he just jumped around Neuer, Neuer lunged in for the tackle and should've paid the price. If you watch the Neuer reaction to the penalty he looked 99% sure it was penalty. Anyway what a performance by Saka, absolutely unbelievable, had Davies on toast, Saka ain't even that quick but absolutely bullied him

always a pen, saka cant make a 90 degree angle to turn straight towards the ball so always has to go a bit more towards neuer then hed like. neuer clearly sticks his foot out and makes contact. stonewall stonewall stonewwall pen

Im an arsenal fan as well but that was not a pen at all. Neur just makes himself as wide as possible and saka just ran straight at him. There was nothing neur could do about that

@@No-Stack-Developer the rule is normally u cant make urself as wide as possible on the line thats the fastest to the ball without touching the ball if the attacker is very close when u do it, approximately atleast thats how u describe a bodycheck. Neuer isnt allowed to make himself big on sakas path right before hes at neuer, but he does. So the discussion is did saka go to much towards neuer or not, and to me its clear he couldnt have gone more tight cuz of his speed

Will declare my arsenal bias upfront, but I really think Saka should have had a pen. The main point against is that he kicks out to create the contact - I think this is not correct, he’s changing the angle of his body to shield the ball and get a shot off. Also I don’t think it matters what Saka does with his legs to some extent since Neuer doesn’t play the ball and cuts his run off. My point there is if Saka appears to do something “more normal” with his legs, he will still get tripped up since Neuer body checks him, and he will always get the pen, in these circumstances I don’t think it’s fair to deny the pen for appearing to kick out.
