United’s journey this season has been reflective of the 1989/90 season when they finished 13th in the League (5 points off relegation), but their season was salvaged by winning the FA Cup which gave Alex Ferguson his first trophy and a platform to build upon. Since ETH has been in charge, he has won 2 trophies in successive seasons, which in terms of silverware is only second behind Man City. Remember last season United and ETH also qualified for the UCL. Surely now he should be allowed a similar platform to build upon these achievements.

I think the same has to apply to ETH but I don't know.. his attitude is questionable, he gets very egotistical, theres a reason the players want him out, even seeing Sancho in the UCL Final now just shows he is very authoritarian and needs to be more of a player's coach like Arteta or Klopp, he does not have the charm of Pep to be acting that way

Disrespectful media, did they have the same energy toward Arteta when he was languishing for years with Arsenal? Yeah we played poorly this year but did you see our injuries? Last year with all the drama he still got us third in the league and two cup finals while winning one. That was in his first damn year, did they forget that? This year with all the injuries, we still got FA cup beating Liverpool along the way and then Man City in the final. Do you realize we haven't had a LB the whole damn year or a consistent CB pairing and you wanna know why we been getting scored on. Look at our damn injury list, it's insane. I swear people don't have any brains, you can only do so much with what you got. You need players to win, every team is stacked in the PL. 3 finals and two cups in two years is damn good and it takes time to rebuild when your team has been shit for years. Give the man his time and back him in the windows. Every year they wanna sack a manager and then we go through the same shit again and again.

@@leespn4396 You want some answers? Ok here we go. It doesnt matter if CFC or NC are 10points, 1point or only 1 goal ahead. We still finished in 8th with -1 GD. They still had more injuries then us. In terms of expected points and goals over the season we should be bottom half of the table. We overachieved in that regard with getting 8th! It doesnt change the fact we droped out of UCL Group Stage and european football entirely against a danish farmers league club. And Galatasaray with a squad worth not even a quarter compared to United. A club that spend 33mil last summer on all his transfers. Letting a turkish club get the first win in a UCL Game on english ground. Oh and just btw. i wasnt called a prat by Mark. Because i dont superchat nor do i using the chat during his streams at all. I used it as an example for how he deals usualy with people having a different opinion. 👍 That we managed to get europa league by winning the FA Cup is nice. And it helps. But it doesnt change any of the other facts. Just because Poch got Chelsea 6th by a lucky winstreak at the end of season doesnt change the fact they were midtable for most of the season. His subs were awful and most of the fanbase called for his head for like 30 league games. So its even more embarrasing how our season went over all.

We need to keep ten hag cos he has the passion to take us back to glory days. He's developing young talent. He's winning trophies with a shit squad that had the most injuries in the pl. Yes we had a awful season but we've been hit hard at the back and that has really cost us. 15 different centre back pairings that have not started more than 3 games together. No left back for the whole season. Cut him some slack. The manager is not the problem we need a squad rebuild. After that we can work on consistency and then challenging for the title. But this takes time so we have to be patient. Sacking managers every 2 seasons is clearly not working. Stick with ten hag! We need stability.

Domestic Cups are not important, *THAT* is why teams rotate in the early rounds, nobody does that with the CL or the PL, because they *MATTER* .The domestic cups are just a nice-to-have. The FA Cup & the League Cup are opportunities for small clubs.

As a fan of a rival club, I have no idea why you would want to keep him. Even with this underwhelming league season (congrats on the FA cup), Man U over-performed on underlying numbers (say what you will they do have some truth behind them) and had a god awful defence. Matches were never controlled - see all the points you lost in the dying minutes of games. As a rival fan I'm happier if you keep him than get rid for these reasons.

I do think they should keep ten hag but mainly because the options out there are thin, all the decent managers out there will be waiting for other top jobs, the only available manager i think is better than ten hag is probably de zerbi who has had a questionable year but he has that top top level potential with the style of play he has when ten hag doesn’t, u can’t win a league in the modern era playing counter attacking football and parking the bus against every top team u play

I think they were gonna sack him regardless but after seeing the reaction from the fans after the final whistle, as well as the rightful backlash at the media; ineos are backtracking on their decision. I'm confident ten hag will stay but the fact that it is taking this long is very worrying. It will delay the start of the summer work.

This is not just about ETH but the club moving forward over a number of years. We now have a structure above ETH who will decide who the best Manager/Head Coach will be for the system that will best suit the club moving forwards. If it is ETH then great but it will come with a reduced input in player purchases- this is the right way so we are not left with LVG, Jose etc individuals but players who have been chosen for a system moving forwards despite who the manager is. TUS needs to be better than just saying ETH in without a more detailed analysis of what the bigger picture is. To hear Ineous out when they have just started is ridiculous. Let’s hope ETH keeps his job but. In full agreement of the vision of the club.

You might know the name Lewis Hamilton (7 time drivers champion). Well things have got so bad that he's now leaving the team at the end of this year too.

One game where he get the tactics right and suddenly all forget how we all season have struggled very very badly against less good opponents - fact is ETH is a lucky man he even got to the final (Coventry remember!?) We've finished 8th ffs! We've got a negative goalscore, we've conceeded multiple chances against us every game, list goes on ... and now ETH is "a genius". It's a fuc.... joke!
