The phone call at the beginning of this night is one of the most lasting horror moments of the franchise imo. "What on earth are you doing there?" After all the lying and gaslighting phone guy has done, he can't even pretend like nothing's wrong.

He never was gaslighting anyone. He was just covering up the truth and misleading the player into thinking everything was kinda all right. Gaslighting would be if he said things to undercut you and deliberately make you doubt your own thoughts about the place. Instead he's trying to make you doubt the words of people outside the restaurant.

It does, however his fate was worse. He had to stand next to the animatronic and his check was given to him in 1987. If you piece it together Jeremy Fitzgerald (the player for fnaf 2) was the victim of the bite of 87

Special shoutout to phone guy. Even when he was about to be killed he was still calm, but when he calls you he’s genuinely distressed to find out you’re still there and in danger. The ONLY time he’s not calm is when he hears YOU are still there, and then decides he’s taking the night shift when they reopen. Forever in our hearts phone guy

My favorite thing in the literal best thing about phone guy, is even when he’s scared or distressed or dead. He’s still somehow throws in a “hello…hello… hi :D” and he always says hi like he’s happy or excited to talk to you and it’s so adorable

Pay attention to what phone guys saying " hello hello what on earth are you doing there? Didn't you get the memo? The place is closed down, atleast for while, someone used one of the suits. We had a spare in the back.. a yellow one. Someone used it. Now none of them are acting right" The meaning behind the message is that one of the kids or spirits was let out and completely restless, so that alerted the other ones. That's why he said none of them are acting right. And when he said someone used the suits, that's the spirit that's in golden Freddy's suit.

Just gonna point out that at 8:30 when Mark spotted Golden Freddy he literally had the flashlight on for 1 frame. Nice eye. Edit: if you're on your computer, pause the video and use the "," and "." Keys to look through the video frame by frame.
