Perched atop a hill in France, an abandoned chateau of a Thai family now sits alone. Even though this place has been called home for decades, it’s been vacant now for years, yet, strangely well-preserved.
Exploring its rooms, we’re greeted by remnants of the family: toys of their little daughter, clothes still in wardrobes, and even golden jewelry is left behind. The family's absence is palpable, their sudden disappearance a mystery.
Recently, however, the chateau fell into the wrong hands. Footage from an exploration friend of mine reveals it's been ransacked, its treasures stolen, leaving only memories of its former splendor, that you will see today.
This exploration dates back to 2022, when I visited this place with a friend from my hometown. The chateau was truly frozen in time, a strong reminder of the family who once thrived here. Let’s step inside and get aware of the fleeting nature of life.

Beautiful elegant mansion. The Lady of the house had excellent taste in Jade and Oriental statues..... Hope Noone finds and trashes this beautiful house. What an amazing explore to see an abandoned house in such pristine shape.... Sometimes I really dislike people; how could anyone destroy and completely ruin this beautiful home? 😭 Greed? Or just to cause chaos? Argh, this frustrates me no end. 🤬 I can't imagine how heart wrenching it was for you to learn of this. I absolutely loved everything in this beautiful place, it definitely was grandiose as you said, Maureno. But I think the most fascinating thing was that beehive in the cabinet! 🐝😳

Maureen’s I think many of the statues are made from jade which exist in various colors. This place is magnificent! Love the beauty of all the wood! This is a wonderful find! Thank you for sharing this beautiful house!

@@mistique77 I agree, you'd think that someone would claim at least some of it. However, I'm not familiar with the inheritance laws there, I'm in Canada and can't help but wonder if the taxes there make claiming items to costly.

It's the ever-present question why did they leave and why didn't they take their things. You can see they were very neat people and it's a shame that people have to be callous and cruel by destroying and disrespecting people's property.

There isn’t much Mould yet because everything was closed properly, it’s very important that you guys close all the windows properly again so the damp stays out….i wonder if something happened to the Family on one of their Travels…tragic…very beautiful Place would be easy to reinstate as a Family Home…

Hey Maureno from fabulous team Explomo. This was an absolutely fascinating big mansion with beautifully furnished rooms in pristine condition. I loved these glitzy chandeliers, the richly carved sideboards and cabinets. Also the collection of these wonderful figurines in some of the cabinets and on the shelfs were simply stunning to see. They seemed to made from jade and/or onyx. Also the bedrooms in the upper storey were still in pristine condition. On the other hand: what a shame, that some people with entirely wrong intentions found their way inside that location only to cause vandalism and senseless destructions! So terribly sad to see and a great loss of beautiful and valuable items! This example shows the importance, why the location of such wonderful abandoned mansions should always be kept secret! Yo también he pensado que quizas los dueños o descendientes están muertos. Pero un persona que vive en Francia me dijo que los impuestos en esas propiedades son muy altos y muchas veces los dueños los abandonan por no poder pagar esos impuestos al Gobierno

Hola chicos, primero que todo la intro me encantó, la mansión vista desde lo alto en medio de la naturaleza, los colores de los árboles, wow!! Esta mansión es realmente fascinante, todo lo que hay en su interior, muebles, lámparas, pinturas, esculturas de todos los materiales, etcétera, son realmente bellísimos. Pienso que la casa antes de ser abandonada fue el hogar de una mujer y su hija, la decoración, todos los detalles en diferentes tonos de rosa es demasiado femenina, el hombre de la fotografía quizás haya sido el esposo fallecido. Maureno me alegro que hayas podido documentar este bello lugar antes de que fuera desmantelado y saqueado.😢 Saludos muy cariñosos para ustedes. 😊❤
