This is for sure because keeping a pool clean is very difficult and expensive. If you have a dog it is even more difficult because he does not wash his feet before entering the pool 😁 In this case the owners of the pool do not have a dog but have a pool after the dog 🤭 These neighbors are incredibly nice.

That would be lovely however the costs of building the pool along with maintenance do add up quite a bit so it's not as simple and one as done. I've had a lot of friends do it (Florida living = most people have pools.) In addition if it snows or in the fall when it gets too cold, pup wouldn't be able to use it without heating which is another added cost.

I wouldn't find it funny. The dog jas bad education. And, she is recording instead of rushing to stop the dog. She doesn't understand how anti-hygienic is foreign animals entering a pool. She doesn't inderstand how expensive is to throw all the water and fill the pool again. What she should be doing is increasing the height of the wall...or buying a pool.

If your neighbors use a pool cover, perhaps you should monitor Zepp extra well in case he tries to go swimming despite it. Unsuspecting animals can get wrapped in pool covers or trapped under them. He’s such a beautiful boy, and deserves to have a long KZfaq career!

For sure. We have a solar cover on our pool and I always watched my dog when it was on. That was always a huge fear of mine her getting trapped under the cover.

The stupid owner doesn't realize that her neighbor knows the dogs has to climb the fence every time, but never offered to open a gate on the fence or put stairs near it. This a clear sign that the neighbor doesn't really like this behavior, but is just too nice/shy to say no. Yet this clueless dog owner think this is "cute", smh...god I would hate to have a neighbor like this 😅

@@darthvadeth6290in many places it is against the law to not have your pool fenced. The neighbor could get in trouble for just leaving the gate open in general. So it makes sense the gate is always closed when the dog randomly sneaks over. The same concept applies to stairs. Stairs that make it easy to get over the fence would probably be illegal too because the whole point of this law is to keep kids from getting easy access and potentially drowning. Idk if the neighbor likes the dog coming over but I think your reasoning is flawed.

I am usually not an extremely friendly neighbour. I don’t like when garbage from my neighbours finds its way into my driveway. But I have to say that Zepp is the cutest, smartest and sweetest golden I have ever seen. He is like a big baby. Your neighbours are truly amazing. If I was your neighbour I would be ringing your doorbell and asking if Zepp could come out to play. He probably gets more joy fro the pool than the humans do.

Oh, this is adorable! I had a Golden named “Jazzmine” that always scaled a 7 foot fence and lounged in the neighbor’s pool. ❤️

Easy for you to type that out in the comment section, bc it's not your pool that's being randomly used by a dog, and it's not your yard thats being walked into by your neighbor randomly at any time of the day, and it's not you that has to pay extra cleaning/maintained fee for the pool.

This is not adorable. This is taking advantage of nice neighbors who have a hard time saying no. No one with fences wants their private poor used randomly by their neighbors or their neighbors dogs unannounced. If their neighbors truly didn't mind it, they would have offered to open a gate on the fence. They didn't, because they want this stupid dog owner to realize, by herself, that what she is doing is not cool. But she thinks it's a game. This is the kind of neighbor I would hate to have to deal with.

I think it's hilarious!!! I have never known a retriever not liking water, especially a pool!! After all they are water dogs, it's adorable too ❤. And ending the season with a party was the icing on his pup cake, he had a will and made it his mission to have a blast in the water knowing his neighbors were okay with it, good for you Zepp!!! 😊

@@Copemaxx I used to work with pools...Golden Retrievers are know for clogging filter pumps with their hair and those paws will shred that pool liner....easily a couple grand

My daughter has a golden retriever and I took him for a walk down to the river and what I seen was amazing , he jumped into the river and went under water and was bringing back stones to me and this continued for about an hr , it was great to see , he seemed more like a fish than a dog 😂😂❤

They were bred from aTweed Water Dog in Scotland which are now extinct along with a labrador and a couple of other dogs I can't remember. Labradors were breed to retrieve water fowl. So it makes since that some would love the water.

@@darthvadeth6290Yes, the neighbors should say no if they have an issue with it 💀 you shouldn't automatically assume that the neighbors didn't want the dog to come in when around the end of summer they threw a whole pool party or whatever. Obviously I think that the dog shouldn't have came in in the first place and that the owner should've tried harder to keep him out, but from what we know, it doesn't seem like the owners were too upset about it. They always COULD'VE been upset, but they've never said no, so 🤷♂️ we shouldn't assume that they gaf

After enjoying the pool as a puppy, there was no fence that was going to keep Zeppole away. Imagine being treated to greasy burgers and fries at the local fast food joint. And then you are told to stay home and eat your raw vegetables. I know I would find my way back and be BARKING at the drive thru window!

I love dogs, HOWEVER....while the neighbors might say they're OK with this, they might actually feel differently and just don't want to offend you. If you really want to be a good neighbor then put a stop to this as they shouldn't have to put up with swimming in your dog's dirty bathwater.

But what I DO know is that everyone I know who has a pool spends a lot of money on it for maintenance every month and they enjoy using it all summer long. Not even one of these people would want the neighbor's dog in their pool everyday.

I've seen videos of dogs jumping into heaps of leaves, sliding down a snowy slope and all sorts fun things. One of my English Setters loved boats, and especially small boats. He loved being in a small sail/row boat while it was towed behind a bigger boat on the Norfolk Broads. When we were loading the car ready for a trip, the dog would jump in the back, and refuse to get out in case we left her behind - which we never did. It warms your heart see dogs working out that this fun, and wanting to do it time after time.

This adorable dog 🐕🐕 is just priceless!! He loves this person's swimming pool!! What ever it is, about this particular pool, that he likes? It's just plain beautiful!! Maybe this water 🌊💦 feels good to him!! You can't blame him for that!! Just to see him, going over there and jumping in, is completely funny!! Thank you for sharing this with us!!

This is one of the reasons why retrievers make such great assistance dogs, they are very highly intelligent. 🦮🦮🦮 You can actually see the look of sheer delight as he jumps into the water. 😂🤣 Pure pleasure watching this, thank you to you and to your wonderful neighbours.😁👍

Zepp's owners will probably need to get their own pool OR let the neighbors come into their house at any time and help them to whatever they want from the fridge: "Oh hi, Barb. We smelled and saw you were grilling ribs on the steak earlier today. Thought I'd see if you have any leftovers." 😂😂😂
