Thanks! Lorenzo & family operated a wonderful Italian restaurant in Nashville for many years. He was a great old guy & the food was exquisite.

Very quick, athetlic and almost balletic in parts. Great to see these bodily aesthetics. Awesome and like the way they get out of holds. Quite sexy in parts. And the spectators are making a night of it with dinner etc. JUST MINT!

it was no more real than today but we grew up on it and we loved it. nothing from those days matches the strong style of japanese pro today. in 1957 or 58, o'connor and thesz had a beautiful championship match.

I long for Lorenzo's Italian Restaurant & his friendly welcome in South Nashville. Much of his career he was a "heel", but he was truly a gentleman & his family operated a wonderful venue.

O'Connor was one of the greatest workers of all time, right up there with Thesz, Brisco and Hodge.

The ringside announcer, Joe Garagiola, passed away this past Wednesday at the age of 90. No cause of death was revealed.

I keep waiting for Garagiola to toss in apocryphal stories about Yogi Berra. Joe was fresh from a mediocre career as an MLB catcher with the Cardinals, Cubs and Pirates. At 4:56, Joe adds a commercial for Busch beer which includes the time honored advertising axiom "SSSSSSSSSSSSLURP . . . and that's it!" A born huckster.

@@georgehenderson7783 ....what makes it really great, is knowing now, that Pat was gay...Watching him "trapped" in headscissor after headscissor, after headscissor gives you a much clearer picture of what pro wrestling has been about...Pat was enjoying allowing Lorenzo to "feel good" as the dominant male in the ring, letting him enjoy the way it made his balls tingle from "punishing" him in the headscissors....and you can tell Lorenzo was thoroughly enjoying the manly pleasure it was giving him, plus knowing Pat would "struggle" in them for good lengths of time....Lorenzo knowing that Pat is basically going to be his wrestling "hump-doll" for most of the their match....the underlying undertones of the dominant wrestler's dick feeling good from the punishment of his "weaker" opponent, is why I love classic, and oldschool pro wrestling...it just feels good to watch, as a male, ya know?....and what boy hasn't enjoyed a good wrestle with a neighbor bud, from the age of ten.... it's a male thing....it feels good to be the top-dog....and in front of a crowd!...the crowd reaction is basically an aphrodisiac for the wrestler in command......I hope Lorenzo busted a satisfying one off under those trunks of his, and I hope he felt like a cocky, wrestling alpha-stud when he did...
