15:45 Fun story relating to this card; I was in a Cyber Dragon mirror match (I had pure, he had Cyber dark with him) during his turn, he was going to summon a Cyber dragon from his deck with core, but he must've realized he would've lost if he did that, so he ashed himself. The very next move is that he summons Cyber Dragon and loses all his LP since he was only at 300.

Favorite tech pic is Quazar and Shooting Star. Send Quazar from the ED to the grave, equip it to Cyberdarkness to make it a 6k attacker. then if it leaves the spell zone by protecting your monster, oh look, it just left the field, meaning you can summon Shooting Star directly from the ED for a 3300 body, a negation, and if this is a mashup with dragunities, potentially another multi-attacker on top of Cyberdark End

Fun Fact learned from Master Duel Events, Cyberdarkness Dragon's effect to equip is not OPT, neither is there a limit to Cyberdark End Dragons to be summoned. So something like "Cyber Eternal" or Magnet Reverse" in hand can get you 3 towers in one turn.

The combo for making Cyberdark End Dragon at 30:22 is wrong, what you need for materials is: - Cyberdragon Core - Any Cyberdark or Cyber (light) machine or dragon monster

My go to combo is too use chimera’s effect to drop a Chimeratech Overdragon with power bond and either swing or explode.

Byroad Sacrifice is one of the first cards I ever saw and one of the most memorable card arts in the hand-me-down bulk I could use for playground yugioh. It was so gritty even by old art standards, but I didn't have Cyber Ogre so I always wondered what that card was, but forgot about it until now. So thanks for resolving that tiny part of my childhood. EDIT: Now there are 2 of them!

A few things to add: 1) With Claw's effect you can send N'tss to the GY, making attacking a Cyberdark equipped with Claw a risky move 2) Similarly to Claw, Cannnon has a very good batle focused Target, Lunalight Crimson Fox. Since fox's effect doesn't miss timing and changes the ATK value, it can be activated during the damage step, basically being a version of Dark Honest 3) Using Dragon Buster is a valid idea, however Extra Deck lock on a monster that can be ran over by Celtic Guardian isn't that threatening. Instead you can use Dragon Buster to gain access to lv 5 Synchros, like newly limited Ib, the World Chalice Justiciar or my personal favorite, Superheavy Samurai Swordsmaster Musashi. Ib will grab you a World Chalice card, for all you extender needs, while Musashi will get a Cyberdark back form the GY for next turn. Edit: 4) I completely forgot about 1 more possible play. It's very hard to pull off but it's also extremely hilarious. You can use the Brave engine to provide Cyberdarkness Dragon with almost limitless negates. It all stems from the fact all of the equip spells in the Brave Token series re-equip themselves when sent to the GY. This makes each of those spells count as 2 effect activations of Cyberdarkness Dragon PER TURN! Unfortunately the Brave engine doesn't work well with a typical Cyberdark deck, due to those relying on their Normal Summons. However, it's possible to make this happen. You have to jump through an extreme number of hoops in order to get there...

Cyber Ogres need a complete overhaul. I do dig “Cyber Ogre #2” design, but as a fusion monster, it just feels really out of step to what the Den/Headmaster should play as a Top Rank Duelist keeping the CyberDarks at bay.

I always like the gimmick. Simple Equip a dragon from the grave to have high ATK, a little protection, and one unique Effect.

Fun fact about the Cyberdark End combo, it has room for different paths depending on what cards you have in your hand. In certain scenarios, you can do it while searching Cyber Eternal off of Core, allowing you to put both Cyberdark End AND Cyberdarkness on the board simultaneously

I am playing Yugioh GX tag force 1 currently. Cyber phoenix has saved my butt SO often from losing a duel, especially because my boss monsters can't get snatch-stolen anymore. Jinzo and this can absolutely obliterate some early GX strategies.

I use the Darkcyber monster on & off, but not as much as my other decks, but I still love them. I just love there aesthetic & theme. And I can kind of see more support that can be added to make them more playable.

Anyone who dislikes Zane’s transformation read this: His character arc was someone who was praised as the next king of games basically, being a high schooler whose expected for greatness, only for the real world to come crashing into him and those same people who beleived in him now looking down on him to the point he had to felt he needed substances, cyberdarks, to get stronger and the fame back only to end up losing his friends and the respect of his brother and in the nearly dying for it and only then coming to realize what he did wrong in his life. It’s a beautifully dark story befitting the themes of growing up that GX has.

We need more Dark Cyber Dragon that are also Cyber Dark Dragon

It should be worth noting, back when the combo was legal, instead of Linking Core and Chimera into Seiger, you could have Linked them into Union Carrier, then Used Carrier to equip Cyberdark End Dragon with Buster Dragon Destruction Sword to make a Powerful Towers that Floodgated your opponent out of their Extra deck. Yeah, nobody is gonna miss that.

Making Cyberdark End Dragon with Muddymud Dragon is one of the funniest things I've heard, and now I have to try to do it. Also a fun fact, is you can use Cyber Eternal to revive Cyberdarkness Dragon, equip it with another Cyber End Dragon, and then make a SECOND Cyberdark End Dragon. Or you know, keep Cyberdarkness Dragon for two Omninegates. That's probably better, but double towers is funnier.

Cyberdarks would be better if the OGs said "Target a Level 3 Dragon monster OR a "Cyber Dragon" monster in your Graveyard" and Cyberdark Dragon said "Target a Dragon monster OR monster that mentions "Cyber Dragon" on its text" for the equip effect. So the components could equip Cyber Dragon and the clones, and the original Fusion could grab End Dragon alongside the other archetype Fusions. So you don't have to side in other Dragons for the Deck to work. Not like that matters now with the new Support, but still. It's dumb that Cyberdarks didn't work with Cyber Dragons despite related Lore.

I play a cyber deck on master duel. I use cyber eternity dragon to guard my life points while I widdle my opponents down with cyberdarks, or I summon cyberdarks end dragon and obliterate the field. It's a fun deck to play.

You can extend the first combo to cyberdark invasion/cyber eternal just to not expect your opp to destroy ur cybern

I have one single gripe with Cyberdark support. If I told someone not familiar with Cyberdarks that they got two support spells called “Cyberdark Realm” and “Cyberdark Inferno” and that they were a field spell and a continuous spell, which would they assume was which? I mean, I know Inferno came out first and they weren’t gonna retroactively change it, but still.

Personally if they’ve made the cyber dark and chimeratech as one thing it would have both made sense and worked a lot bettter

I _am_ happy that Cyberdarks ended up getting later support that lifted them up to usability, but the fact that they were basically unplayable at launch is immensely funny to me given the context of the GX anime. The fact that Cyberdarks- in-universe hyped up as an absurdly dangerous upgrade to the still-relevant-to-this-day Cyber Dragons- were genuinely one of the worst archetypes in the game at debut makes me crack up every time.

No one ran Blue Eyes in this. You stocked your extra deck with Five Headed Dragon and similar powerful Dragon fusions and either used cards that would ditch an extra deck monster to grave or Future Fusion with the smaller dragons while it was legal. Three hunter dragons and two of anything else tou wanted to put in there on your first turn, a big beatstick on the field in two turns if the spell didn't get popped and a second life for it if you did get it out and your opponent destroyed it through effect. Again, cards that sent from fusion deck to graveyard as a cost were also great as you weren't intending to special summon them from there anyway. No reason to have blue eyes or black luster soldier in your deck, just run Dragon Master Knight or Blue eyes Ultimate so you could send it to the grave as a target for Cyberdark Dragon without filling your deck with bricks. It was the only fusion in that deck at the time and no XYZ, Synchros Etc. As a secondary option, so you had plenty of room.

Centur-Ion True Awakening - works good with this deck since it equips monsters :) incase you need more negates. just the trap card. the Centur-ion engine is expensive XD

I honestly like Cyberdark more than Cyber dragon don't get me wrong I was a big cyber dragon fan back in the day however dark has a lot of potential i played it in dueling Nexus for a long time and I think it doesn't really get the love it deserves because of how the anime presented it

As you're a lore person I'm still kind of shocked at your insistence that the descripter of dragon can't be used for non dragon types even for an offshoot of the machine archetype that's whole thing is that it's styled as a dragon. Not only do the transcendsaurus types that encompass most dragons all contain the word dragon in them in Japenese but you don't have to look too far back to see sea serpents and wyrms used interchangably with dragons.

Honestly. Syris should’ve owned these Monsters from the Beginning of GX! Mainly cause his Manga and Anime Vehicroid Deck JUST SUCKS! And Zane should’ve stolen this Deck and gate-kept it from his brother to Test him since Syrus suffers from confidence issues.
