Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones deserve to be in the England squad before Mainoo, the kid has only had a few good games. As for Hendo, I wouldn't take him. I've defended Hendo from people's insults many times over the years as a Liverpool supporter but England have too many other good midfield options right now who ultimately offer more than Hendo does. If it was a choice between Hendo or Mainoo, I'd choose Hendo. But if I can take whoever I want, I wouldn't include either of them.

Both should be in there. A few poor performances doesn't mean Trippier's not worthy of his place anymore as he's been playing his best football the last four years of his club career. Dross like Mitchell, Guehi, Colwill and the ocean liner Dunk are the ones that people should be questioning defensively for being picked instead of White not Trippier.

He’s had four or more serious injuries that have limited his development. Does a good job for Liverpool at full back but don’t think he’s good enough to get in ahead of any other full backs. I could see an argument for taking him due to his versatility but that’s it.

Why is Trippier always slaughtered whenever he gets picked for England? Been consistent in multiple positions for England for the near seven years he's been in there and has played the best football of his club career these past 5 seasons. Some poor performances this season doesn't change that but a lot of Newcastle players have dropped off this season. He pocketed Mbappe in both games against PSG but no one brings that up or his other top performances at times this season. He's been nowhere near as bad as people have made out this season though. Him, Walker, trent and Ben White would all be in the squad for me.

He won’t be fit. Just had an operation. He might just about come back for last few games but he won’t be ready. He knew his decision to have the operation would be the end of his season and the euros. We Chelsea fans hope he comes back and doesn’t have the same injury problem now it’s been operated on. But if I’m honest , I think he’s injury prone and will most likely be in and out of serious injury his whole career and won’t fulfill his potential because of it. Shame really.
