Myself (Dan Hendriksen PGA Pro), Lester Barnes (Scratch Handicap) and Lee Whittaker (13 Handicap) have been invited to play and stay at the wonderful Manor & Ashbury Hotels near Okehampton, Devon in South West England.
With 99 holes of golf, all on one site, the Ashbury is accredited as the ninth largest golf resort in the world. No other English golf course provides a better combination of stunning scenery and exceptional challenge than the acclaimed Ashbury Golf Resort. Located in the heart of one of the most captivating areas of the Southwest, the hotel delivers spectacular views of Dartmoor across the rolling Devon countryside towards Exmoor.
In this vlog we are on the 59 hunt once again but for some reason we have started strong and looking to finally get the job done after the quest started over a year ago. Join us as we hunt it down and don't forget to keep commenting to show your support for our quest.

Dan is such a good player, his putting is fantastic and has all ways been. Bernie needs to hang on to that driver because he can sure strike it well. Great golf so far.

I have literally never seen anything like it, words can’t describe the shock, surprise, feeling in my stomach, jumping off the sofa and screaming at the top of my lungs. I’m just glad you said you were considering ‘taking it off….’ Sunglasses are prepped just in case. Those putts were pretty mine blowing as well. I even called my wife in to show her the first one, (after explaining to her the ‘gilet’ I finally convinced her to watch the putt) she was also really impressed. Go boys…. Loving this series

The word you sought was ‘Vernacular‘, Dan. characteristics, that are unique to a particular location or region. E.g. The use of the railways sleeper on the par 3. Great putting BTW, saving the day. 👍🏻

Not a mention of the Doctor yesterday and then 5 mins in we have a discussion about super Mackenzie slopes, followed by a Terry Woganesque put by Dan Lee then tells us all about his draw bias driver with his own draw, and gin arms, and then manages to hit a cut! Then Bernie comes in with his fashion tips. Your shaft does not match your outfit. What a faux pas! Dan immediately back with “is that grey hair above your ear…..no it’s sun tan cream Lee has no breaks on any of his clubs….not just his putter Then Dan finishes with another eagle. Lee might join you tomorrow.

You can take the Matelot out of the Navy but you’ll NEVER take the Gin or Rum out of the Matelot😂😂🤪. Great Putt Dan. Bernie, there is no such thing as “know your drinking limits” for ex RN, it’s an occupational hazard, hic.🍻🍸🍹🥃🍷. Having said that, Lee obviously can’t handle it and golf, therefore he wouldn’t have made it as a Submariner? Another great putt from Dan, great stuff.
