The exhilaration from making a hole-in-one is amazing. I was playing a par 3 course in the 90's and made the hole in one with my buddies standing there. They laughed and cheered and then, as we walked to the next hole they started telling me to go wait in the truck. And I'm not even a good golfer. In 2006 I was 50 years old and I fell down some stairs and hurt my shoulder. Now it's so painful to play, I simply can't. About all I can do is put. Such is life. I miss playing very much.

Traditionally when it first started only rich people were able to afford the clubs however any Joe is able to buy a club now what really makes a difference is the commitment the person has towards the sport (plus more money can afford more lessons and fancier gear so there’s that)

BonEndeavor I find myself in an area that only costs $10 USD for 18 holes I don’t play anywhere fancy and there’s only a few in my area I can go without taking a 4 hours drive for. Sure the rates to play the ultimate premium courses where the opens are, what 1-2 thousand dollars but I’m fine at my local golf course

I made one when I was a teenager. It bounces around on rough ground leading up to the green. We couldn’t tell due to green being at a higher elevation. Kept looking over the back bunker for my ball. Found it in the hole. Just pure luck no skill. But you never forget it. Think of the odds.
