Penang Island is not only famous for yummy street food and heritage buildings but also a great place for slow and speed jigging! On this episode, Fred Goh and Kok Ping check out some coastal spots off Penang Island in search for some slow and speed jigging action.

You have lots of videos that are just fun to see and learn more and more thank you !!! I have a small question why you almost all videos do not use slo4 and almost most of the videos I see the adajo .... I saw that you responded in a video clip to slo4 which is quality and better than adajo so why not use it ?? We look forward to watching the videos with the slo4

Good question, as the Adajo Plus was introduced later than SLO4, this trip was to give viewers a good look how the Adajo Plus rod performed. If you follow my FB page "Rapala Fred Goh", you will actually see that I am using SLO4 most of the time. *Smile

@RapalaSoutheastAsia
@RapalaSoutheastAsia 5 жыл бұрын
Hi Nasrul Hamzah, Yes, you can! But you may want to try the Storm Vanuatu which is the newer version of the Storm rods. It's using VTX45 construction which give the rod more sensitivity and durability weighting light on hand to jig the whole day!

@fredfishandcook
@fredfishandcook 6 жыл бұрын
Hi, our Gomoku rod is designed more for jigging and if used for casting, you may not enjoy the performance of the rod and also run the risk of breaking the rod. Advice is to use the rod for jigging while invest in our Rapala/Storm range of casting rods : )

Quick question for you sir. Can slow jigging rods be used for speed jigging?
@mojondro
@mojondro 6 жыл бұрын
It's depends on the rod design,for example the gomoku series can be use for both style's while the more traditional Japanese slow jigging rod can't
@fredfishandcook
@fredfishandcook 6 жыл бұрын
It is better to use our Gomoku versatile range for speed jigging like the Kaiten/Kodachi/Erito while use the Adajo plus for slow jigging. Though the Adajo plus can be used for speed jigging, it is not as comfortable as using a Kaiten/Kodachi ha ha
