When i first watched this ep i was silent for the whole 23 minutes And that's something form a talker like me

it may have been a little childish, but I think Gon's sacrifice is sometimes underestimated, he was very attentive to everything in this final arc. If not for his sacrifice, Pitou would have wiped out all the other hunters in the invasion.

Helpless is not the word to be used for pitou. People easily forget she was a vicious killer that killed kids and took pleasure in torturing opponents.

kinda skipping over the fact that he really didnt have a choice in this scenario. pitou was mere moments away from turning gon into a corpse puppet like she did to kite.

@@gausly1032 in that moment, yeah, but all Gon wanted was based on his delusion. Everybody who saw Kite's puppet understood that he was dead for good, no hope to "heal" him. Gon decided to held on that hope, that was merely delusion since it was impossible, and sinked into the deepest darkness of his rage to realise that delusion, because he just couldn't accept that Kite was gone for good. Also Gon can be delusional, refusing to accept reality and be incredibly naive, but he is not a stupid guy, after witnessing somebody else overhelming power he can be stubborn, but he knows his own limit and he knew that he couldn't win against Pitou on his own as he was, never. And surely he didn't decide on the spot to make that sacrifice, he surely alrady chose to do so if he had to, he was already prepared to make that sacrifice. The moment he lost hope, he lost any will to not do that sacrifice and went for it.

you are wrong tho kurapika use an nen power to target memberd of the 8 only or he would die. Gon did a version of there teacher biscket but in the worst waqt giving year not the training for it. there for not gonna say aka spoilers!!!

@@yukinarisan12 Gon used the condition and covenant on himself, which was kurapika did, but Gon did something far more reckless and self-destructive, just like Wing knew it would have happened because of Gon’s temper.

@@yukinarisan12 yes, kurapika restriction makes HIM DIE. it was on himself. there are very few people who used the restriction on themself. look at netero, hisoka, chrollo, bisk, kite...incredible nen users that their restriction are not dangerous for them. chrollo in order to use his great power needs a lot of planification, netero needs to give 100% gratification to buddha before doing anything but kurapika and gon are fighting with different restriction. same stuff happened with komugi, put her life on the line if she ever lost a game (even tho she didn't did it on porpoise). Kurapika gave gon a bad idea unfortunately

Been a minute since I watched this in its entirety so correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't vengeful Nen the most/one of the most powerful types of Nen? Which is why Nen after death is so powerful, it sticks around after death and the revenge aspect fuels it to be stronger than its original form.

@@omnissiah7247 It could be, but from Gon's perspective it is vengeful, rage, adding the condition, that's why it become so powerful. In Pitou's situation as we seen it, even after his death, his nen manage to manifest but it is driven by deep devotion and strong will to protect the king to his last breath. I guess Pitou also came up to putting condition in himself(devotion + condition).

I always thought of the side effects of adult transformation To be some kind of nen curse cuz you need someone like nen exorcist to actually remove the side effect

@@omnissiah7247 Kinda but not entirely. Nen manifest through emotions and hatred is a strong one. There isnt exactly vengeful nen. Netero said something like that and his 0 hand was also very strong, even thought he had no actual hate for his opponent.

I disagree, I don't think this form that can be achieved naturally. Unless you tell me he did something like the younger Netero did for decades. This was more of him using his entire life's potential in a single moment, a burst so to speak.

I am sorry man yes bleach is amazing at times ... But there is almost nothing that tops these moments in HxH with pure emotions , storytelling and it actually making sense .

@@krishpache7271 everybody has their own taste. But wdym by "actually makes sense"? both bleach and HxH are written really well. Writing in bleach and HxH is not as obvious as other shows which makes you actually think for yourself, that's what I like about both of them.

@@ikuzo5847 Um, don't take this the wrong way. I am a huge Bleach fan and Kubo is very talented in some aspects. But when it comes to character development and tugging on your heart strings, Togashi has him beat. That's normal dho. Bleach is merely Kubo's first Manga and he is young. Togashi has been there for ages and lived alongside some of the best Manga/Gekiga writers. He is also very interested in human psychology and sociology, especially when it comes to the darker sides of humanity. So it is normal for it to transpire in his writing. Just like how Kubo who is interested in fashion is a great character designer. My point being. It's alright for people to point out if someone did something better. Even admitting someone sucks at something. If someone asked me what was the best anime I've ever watched. I'd say Legend of the galactic heroes without hesitation. It's not even in my top 50 favorites, but gotta give credit where credit is due. Bleach is in my top 10. But if someone asked me for a well crafted story. I wouldn't even recommend Bleach.

In the manga, Pitou, when compressing his own internal sense of time, was fast enough to see Netero do his prayer movements, but wasn't able to predict where it came from. When Gon transforms and Pitou tries blitzing him, he completely vanishes and Pitou doesn't realize he had actually left the room. Just going off of this, he's probably faster than Netero's prayer movements, which is faster than Meruem. Strength also goes to Gon, but he's lacking in durability in comparison to the King.

He sacrificed everything. His present Nen, his future Nen, his future years of life, his bright potential (1 in 10 million according to Wing). Because he had so much future potential it's the reason he was able to become this strong.

Well this form already surpassed Netero, at least in raw physical strength. Pre-nuke Meruem was only able to bruise Pitou while going for the kill, while Gon destroyed her face with one punch and then completely crushed her head with a few more. I'd imagine that at this point adult Gon is on a similar level to pre-nuke Meruem

He already far surpasses Netero. Netero's 500m attack didn't phase Pitou but a single kick from Gon immobilized him. Also Gon is probably just as fast, if not faster than Netero based on Pitou's reactions to both of them. Pitou could atleast see Netero's hand gestures, but he didn't even know Gon had left the room when he transformed.

I think he was actually trying to kill Gon in this one (Togashi) but the fans and the editor convinced him not to because Gon is a loved character.

I can understand zushi, but leorio???hmmmm,.. leorio's nen is still unknown to this point so it's a little too early to cross him out.
