They probably would've laughed a lot, which would have made a great atmosphere at the event itself, but the dead silence kind of makes the golf-style commentary funnier

This commentary was amazing, but I do wish they would have dove in to how the actual run works, and what is being done to cut down time or manipulate things to the runners favor.

The commentary started out entertaining but wore out it's welcome when you realize it's less about the run and more about the humor. If there's something being done to beat the game faster when he clearly messes up multiple times it needed to be explained. Maybe they should have switched to normal commentary after a few minutes to help people better understand.
