Actually if I remember correctly its the same roll in the GBA games. If your crit is equal to or greater than your hit rate you will always crit or miss.

@@ZenithBreeze no it is the same roll crit is calculated even if the hit misses which is what the original post is about. But I seem to be wrong about it using the actual same RNG, it uses 3.

In fe6, Berserker crit rate is also double as their hit rate. (Source : I made it the f**k up, but the amount of low hit-high crit berserker I seen landed is absurd in my experience)

@@moretreesmorestars6446 Reminds me about this one video about FE6 I saw. It was probably about Rutger but I do not exactly remember. I do remember a comment saying something like "FE6 Swordmasters: When you want crit higher than the enemies hitrate." and someone replied to it saying "FE6 Berserkers: When you want crit higher than your own hitrate." and that just kinda stuck with me

@@jaxonjaxon9901 I know right? Crazy. Eh Gonzales didn't appear to be in much danger. Any reinforcements could have been taken care of. He clearly wanted Gonzales to kill, and with enough time, its possible that anything could work. Optimal? No. But fun? Yes.
