He could have left and did the same talking points from abroad, he never did any on the ground reporting. He was just riffing off the same news everyone else saw. His hubris got the better of him.

@@factshunter187_, there is a woman I have spoken to over on a Discord chat who said to me about a year ago that she actually knew Gonzo Lira and she stated that he's actually a very, VERY insecure man bereft of integrity and any kind of moral compass. At the time she said that to me I only took that statement with a grain of salt, as it were. NOW, I know she had spoken truthfully, especially after having watched all your videos about this clown._

@nemesis5481 Thank you for sharing the information. When I read the newspaper interviews he made over the years, the way Gonzalo speaks, you can tell he's just making up stuff to impress people. I understand after reading many self-help books that, that type of behavior comes from people who seek validation, but in the process end up pushing people away, which creates more need for validation. A vicious cycle if you will. I wish one of those KZfaq channels run by a physiatrist would take a look at his case and give a professional opinion about Gonzalo. Thanks for sharing the insightful comment. I wish I could have read this earlier instead of seven days later. My bad.
