Жыл бұрынToday I'm back playing Star Citizen . This time we're starting at Everus Harbor station in Hurston atmosphere. I'll be doing cave investigation, mercenaries, and bounty hunting missions. And also lots of Star Citizen bugs....
Star Citizen is multiplayer space trading and combat simulation game to EVE Online, Starfield (upcoming game form Bethesda) or No Man Sky.

Continuing to discover star citizen and maybe exploring rest and stop station or going on the Ptu (test servers) it's open for all backers and normally going to be release in live soon with the expected wipe (except reputations). And dont trust the spinning rings they're vicious( and not sync) ^^. The arrow is the best (for the moment) for low flying in atmo.

@@faizalf119 i dont want to defend it taht much, yes its very buggy, but they needed to build everything fromnthe ground up, that is now mostly finished so the updates come faster and faster.

@@billywashere6965 ah the motivation of the youth & new players, they have been saying this since 2012 like a broken record, still no server meshing & a ton of other stuff needed for this mess to ever leave pre-alpha, nevermind the fine tuning so everything actually works. Havent played since 3.16 just once, i tried the Orison platform mission, broken beyond all measure, uninstalled again, lets see again when/if Pyro comes out XD

Suggestion: Instead of "If you kill me I steal your tank", the last vehicle you destroyed in one game has to be your vehicle for the next. I challenge you to once again start at bottom tier and make your way to top tier!

few things that might help, if you can't eat from you inventory, instead of clicking "eating", grab the bottle/food in your hand, get out of the inventory and click left mouse button if I'm not mistaking. For the turrets at the end, if you do a bunker mission with 4 turrets they will not shoot at your ship if you're inside, they shoot a it only when your character is in the elevator/bunker, better destroy them all, or hide your ship from the turrets, it's the best solution. Now i hide my ship with every bunker mission, just in case. And for the large amount of the same ship in your hangar, it's a bug that disappear after every update or character reset, until yesterday i had something like 10 hammerhead, 4 890 Jump and other stuff.... and it came back to normal after the character reset.

@@DOLLARplays @Ocker3 forgot to mention, sometimes food looted in bunkers doesn’t work. Every time I tried to eat those brown MRE(? I guess) from bunkers with whatever is inside, it didn’t work. Now I only use energy drinks looted or purchased because they give a bit of food too x) And if an item doesn’t want to move from your inventory, I don’t really know why but I’ve seen à correlation between this and when you’ve just equipped a new armour.

Just admit that the game is a complete mess. If you can't do things as simple as using an item the game will not be acceptable in the past.

@@faizalf119 Yes it's a big mess but here are the reasons: Its graphic engine is the CryEngine but where it was good for what Star Citizen was supposed to be, it's not good anymore for what it will be, so they will change the engine for the Vulkan. The servers: now there is ONE server for the entire Star system and for every player in it, it slows down the game, a lot... they have to build a new technologie called "server meshing" which basically link servers together, that's why until now servers only had 60 players per servers, server Meshing is supposed to come in the end of the year and will increase the amount of player per servers. Last thing, Star Citizen is Crown founded, its development is open and players are playing the Alpha, may i remind you that Red Dead Redemption 2 took 8 years to developpe, but it was a closed development, you don't see the game until its release. The thing with Star Citizen is that it is way more complex than RDR2 and an open development seems so much slower to developpe because you play the game in its development phase and you're begging for new features/new gameplay, but it takes time and have to deal with it.

Glad to see you once again on the game Dollar. If you don't know, a big update (3.17.2) is imminent, and should add really nice missions like infiltrating massive abandonned ships in space to kill baddies or attacking derelict crashed ships on surface planets. Needless to say, it will probably come with a whole lot of bugs.

I have been playing 3.17.2 in PTU and despite it has 120 players per server (while live only 50) I can say that 3.17.2 is way more stable and has fewer bugs than 3.17.1

when flying use the scroll wheel to move that box up and down that is next to your speed indicator, it acts as a max throttle so you can lower it to move slower.

@@DOLLARplays that happened to me too and that's because we as war thunder players kinda press the key C without thinking. C is for cruise control. You press it once and it'll automatically gain speed to your max throttle setting (scroll wheel). Be very careful as I've rammed into things too many times to admit.

11:39 Database bug is what is causing the duplicate ships. They are planning to nuke the database (aka wipe) this or next week when the new update drops. New update is gonna be pretty sweet with the Siege of Orison (The city in the clouds around the gas giant you were marveling at). Huge PvE FPS event.

Yes that big ship is indeed a player ship, it is called the Anvil Carrack. It's from the same manufacturer as that tiny fighter you used. It's a multi crew large Expedition ship meant to explore the stars. I've got one myself if you ever wanted a tour ^^

10:00 yes you hit cruise controll, thats the way you normally fly. If stranded ask for pickup in chat, usually someone will help, in the worst chase for a small payment

If you use interaction key when you hold throttle it could remain engage. Press throttle key in that direction again should fix it.

3.17.2 has been popping off on the test server (PTU) player cap over 100 for testing some of the streamer groups have been doing 120 player battles and meetups morphologist, level cap etc.. Unfortunately it won't reach live with those caps yet as it's only for testing but with how solid performance has been on there i really wish it would. tho the big hold back is still Server meshing

I bought a starter pack almost two years ago and put maybe 12-15 hours into it and found it to be way too buggy. I was more often frustrated then enjoying myself. I might try it again here soon but I think the game is way too complicated for everyone to jump into. But the game is the best looking space game there is right now.

Its very buggy but it has the same pain and suffering compared to war thunder, but its not because of "no penetration" but because of game crashes and bugs. And the enjoyable things arw player interaction and with 200h in SC and 1000h in war thunder i can say i choose SC

You should definitely jump back in just to see how much has been improved since you last played, as the funding records show they made a lot of progress in the last 2 years esp. From fixing 30ks to desync to inventory and looting. It's a whole nother experience now, but it will still have issue until 4.0 launches either end of this year of Q1 next year, at which point servers should bring AI and Quanta up to scratch and open up new systems like Pyro to explore

Eating and drinking is kinda buggy, you have to drop the item, equip it from the ground and then press LMB to consume it

If you plan to keep playing star citizen I would highly recommend that you look up some of the recommended upgrades for the Anvil Arrow

I don't even have that ship, officially . Like someone said after next major update it will get removed. My only ship is Avenger Titan . But yeah I need to look for some upgrades

At 14 minutes, to drink you have to remove the helmet, and you still had one on you. Maybe it still was equipped also after, even if you didn't see it
