I’ve never commented on any of your videos... or ANY KZfaq videos for that matter... but I wanted to say, “Thank you, Dave.” I’ve enjoyed this channel for years and has really helped me while building my collection. I appreciate what you guys do and hope to maybe see you in the occasional cameo on the channel! Also... this weekend is already hard due to Endgame and Game of Thrones. Losing Dave is just another heart wrenching addition to the weekend.

That ending skit was quite fitting. It’s been a tremendous run for both Joe and Dave, and it’s been great entertainment... plus I’ve learned some stuff along the way and the show has convinced me to buy/try some games that I overlooked before. Congratulations to both on your accomplishments to date. I look forward to seeing Game Sack continue and I wish Dave the absolute best moving forward.

End of an era... beautifully done guys.... I'm going to really miss Dave, but I do wish Dave all the best, and want to thank him for all the pleasure that he brought over the years with Game Sack. And all the best too for Joe - who'se editing and production values have been incredible over the years - and I really hope that Joe can continue to fly the GameSack banner high and proud...... Not gonna lie, that end skit brought me to tears. It's extremely powerful. Very, very sad stuff. I will be counting the days until Dave makes his first guest appearance. Whether that's months from now or a year or two, I will be waiting. In the meantime, I hope the show can remain almost as good as it was.

We failed you Dave. Based on the quality of this channel, it should have 10x as many subscribers so you (guys) could do this for a living instead of a regular job. slaytanicsabbath I can only presume you don’t like the show, and so think someone would have to be sarcastic to say the show deserves more subscribers. I agree with the OP that the show (relative to other similar shows) deserves more viewers. Quite a lot more. Maybe he was being a bit OTT (or just emotional and/or extra keen to get across his gratitude, which is totally understandable) by saying ‘We failed you Dave’, as ‘we’ (the actual subscribers) helped keep the show above water in the first place. But I get it: too few people (fans of gaming/gaming videos) have given this channel its due. Weirdly, at first, I wasn’t convinced by Game Sack - wasn’t sure about Dave and Joe as hosts, maybe. Or something about the aesthetic. I dunno. Looking back now that seems totally mental: the guys come across as tremendously decent and companionable, and entirely sincere. The show’s a goofy, comforting, joy.

Dave: This isn't a fond farewell. This is more like a friendly and casual "let's hang out later, okay?" This show has given me many hundreds of hours of joy in the past 5 or 6 years since I started watching. I know it will continue to do so long into the future.

I too am an old guy with a family and between work and family it is even hard for me to find time to play games let alone film a show about playing games. I get it man. Joe, so glad you are keeping the show going. I may not have the time I want to play through games but I can make time to watch some Game Sack!

Totally understand Dave. Mental well-being and balancing life is soo important, focusing on it makes you a strong person. That being said I will miss you sooo much. Agreed. I don’t begrudge him anything but it doesn’t make it hurt less. Hurt. Over a guy I don’t even know. On KZfaq. Crazy. I discovered Game Sack during a particularly hard part of my life and job and thoroughly enjoyed watching their entire video catalog many, many times over since then. I learned a lot and got to experience a ton of stuff I missed during my gaming youth from two really guys who I’ve really come to see as friends I just haven’t had the chance to meet. Good luck and best wishes, Dave. And Joe, we’ll be waiting for the new episodes very eagerly.

Not much into commenting, but I have to say your YT-channel is the best gaming channel out there. I really like most of the topics, the way they are presented and both of you guys. The skits are also nice with this one being the very best of all of them, because it's not just silly, but also kinda serious at the end with Dave looking at the room and recaping and stuff. Very well done! I wish you, Dave, all the best and I can totally understand your decision. As for you, Joe, I hope you don't screw it... You better not.
