Thanks! Debating on a new clock radio and I have one from sharper image that is at least 30 yrs old and I’m sad the speakers are starting to go so I’m on the hunt for a replacement and whoa! Finding FM AND AM is a thing and then add in nature sounds -- talk about trying to find a unicorn! Thanks for the overview.

My question is the does the light projector stays on 24 hours a day or do you have to tap it to turn on? I would like it to stay on 24 hours a day

I wanted to hear the different nature sounds this clock can make and you played like 1 second of 1 sound. The thing you keep calling "the cheap plastic part" is the radio antenna, why would they invest more money into the antenna that you hide behind your table if you even use it at all? Did you want a gold plated antenna?

At least I was being honest about the cheap plastic part because that’s exactly what it is. What are they trying to hide? Why not just a telescoping radio antenna you can swivel up or down and even hook into place when not in use. Like an old portable radio. My point was this clock looked so cool but ended up being poorly designed.

@@KillerReviews I believe those "loop" antennas are for AM signals and the telescoping ones are for FM, you may only need to install that antenna if you want AM reception but I'm not sure. I'm shopping for a nature sound alarm clock and am hesitating between this one and the La Crosse Nature Sound mood light alarm, have you tried that one? Thanks

@@KillerReviews I just checked the Sony page and that loop antenna does seem to be required only if you want to get AM stations which are very rare these days anyway, most are on FM.
