This is a real gem of a radio. FM reception is very good. AM (MW) reception is EXCELLENT ❗️. I had no problem receiving some long distance stations such as KMOX-1120, in St.Louis, and I’m in Jacksonville Florida - where most radios struggle with interference from 1110- WBT Charlotte N.C. This is just a cheap little DSP-based, but the set up is done right on this one. Very unusual for a Clock-Radio of this type. I was seriously impressed by this, [ and it takes a lot to really impress me]. 📻🙂

I'm posting this question to all radio reviewers and users. In these times of uncertainty what is the one radio you would grab if all other forms of communication were gone. No tv or phone just radio. It must be one that you can grab and bug out fast with but you know it will deliver information. Thanks in advance my friend

As for me, I would grab the C.Crane CCSKywaveSSB. Next, would be the Tecsun PL-660, or PL-680. But Tom has some great shows on the subject, as he stated. 📻🙂

I'm looking for an am/fm clock radio for a senior. Needs to be easy to set up and use. The alarm feature is not as important as the am radio set up, reception and use. Would you recommend this radio for a 90 year old? Thank you.

I found them on Amazon for $12.99 and it does not say discontinued as I can find. Have a great day. You have to look closely are there are many models of this type radio from Westclox.

Hi Tom, I have this clock radio but cannot figure out how to program the radio presets. I don't have the operating instructions. Can you help?

I don't have the instructions either but I tuned to a station I wanted to save and then press and held the memory button for 2 seconds. It will flash the memory number and then save. You have 20 presets.

No instructions in my box, unfortunately. I played around with it for some time . I got Alarm 1 on, by holding that button down for a few seconds and then the Time/Memory button. I couldn’t figure out the second one. ....... 📻🙂.....

I played around with it for some time. I got Alarm-1 on by holding the alarm button down a few seconds, and then the Time/Memory button. But i still don’t know. No instructions. I researched.
