My husband and I have been together 8 years. Sometimes we do holidays together, sometimes apart. We never get angry about it. If he wants to go fishing on Christmas Eve, I'd happily let him go. He's an adult that doesn't need my permission. I'm not his mommy.

@@roxannemoser I bet he wouldn't leave you alone if you were 8 months pregnant. My wife doesn't nanny me either, if I wanted to go hunting or fishing on Christmas, she would be OK, too. And when she wants to go out of town with her girlfriends, fine with me. But, there are too many things that can go wrong during pregnancy. My first wife miscarried at 3 months. My wife delivered at 8 months (44 years ago). Our second daughter was home alone (not married) and miscarried at 5 months. My wife was at work and I was out of town working. It was a rough experience for her. The medical tests are painful and cruel. A husband needs to support his wife and be there during pregnancy. Three days after our second daughter was born, I reported for duty at Ft. Benning Jump School. Yes, she was pissed but 3 weeks later very proud to pin my silver wings on me. You can't have a pregnant wife and be an attentive boyfriend to your girlfriend. He either was spending time with his pregnant wife or with his girlfriend. Consider this: Why did her stepfather report her missing to the police? Why didn't he? Remember, he told his girlfriend that his wife was already dead.

- The guy tells his mistress that his wife is already dead. - He buys a boat. - He travels 100 miles to use the boat for the first time in the hours before Christmas. - His wife disappears the same morning he’s using the boat. - His wife is found in the same place where he used the boat, which again, is 100 miles from where they lived. What are the odds of that being just a coincidence? Maybe one in 100 trillion? These people from the Innocence Project need to find a different hobby.

Even if he was a total n00b & just happened to want to try fishing at a time that ended up looking bad, no human adult just ventures out like that, alone, with no goal or even a course, renting a license all of the sudden, having no idea what fish you're even going for, while it's cold & rainy?!?! Naw. Even the most brah bro out there would've been like, "damn I'll wait til my buddies can join me on a better weather day." No one does this. I'd be interested to know if they asked him what he was using for bait. And if they did (they should've) how did SP answer? Is it DEFINITIVE proof of his guilt? No. BUT it IS compelling.

I'm not saying he's innocent, but to act like it's a forgone conclusion as the media did is irresponsible and shows that he was convicted on the emotions of women scorned rather than beyond a reasonable doubt. Check out Mindshock podcast, if you're willing and able to challenge your own bias.

That’s not evidence of guilt though. There was a lot of reasonable doubt in his case. Even if you think he did it, imo, he was convicted based on him being a cheater, not based on evidence of his guilt. Even the jurors admit they convicted him based on not liking his demeanor, not the evidence presented. It will be interesting to see what the new evidence is. The Innocence Project is very picky on the cases they choose and they don’t do so without convincing evidence.

ANYWAY due to the media attention in the case another guy eventually came forward and said he had bummed a couple smokes to a weirdo who was standing at the bridge,, and even though there was a very light rain since the incident and the cigarette butts were actually found and tested, one of them tested positive for the guy who had committed the act whoever he was...... Anyway, the cops found through some good old-fashioned door-knocking that the guy's name was some guy who was being held for some unrelated stuff in another city in I think Indiana, and during questioning he slipped up...... And one of the most disgusting things he said was, well, maybe I urinated down in that spot or something, which can only lead one to believe that forensic files was kind and proper enough not to mention that this scuzbag mook actually urinated on the victim before he left.... Not surprisingly he was sentenced to death, but I don't know if he actually got the injection or not......

The coroner testified the baby died a week after the mother. If a killer wanted to dump a body in the bay and Scott wanted to go fishing in the bay, they would have went to the same place. Evidence suggests Laci died from having her throat cut and her entire mid section was missing, it would have involved a large amount of blood, where is the murder scene with all this blood evidence? I've purchased three day fishing permits for my home state before. The media had convicted this guy before he was ever arrested, is why he tried to flee. 20 people are all going to lie and say they seen her walking the dog? That guy is innocent

There were more than two people involved in the Medina burglary. The MPD knew this, and they did nothing. They were already investing resources searching the bay where her body, tarp, or a single alleged anchor could ever be found. 27 days of searches before the bodies were even discovered. Conner could not have washed ashore from any direction under the conditions that existed on April 13. The water level produced by the 5.88 high tide simply did not produce a waterway to carry him to where he was found. And he was beyond the debris line, which means that he was not pushed back to where he was found by the breaking waves. The SF Medical examine told the lead detective that it would be highly unlikely that 32 lbs would submerge the body. It would just float. He also said the currents would likely take the body out to sea. She was found nearly 4 months later. How do currents flowing Southbound at 4 knots place either body where they were found. -Conner (baby) was found above the high tide line and water break. -The baby's left ear was permanently flattened against the head and a rectangular piece of material was over his ear. -Plastic wrap knotted around his neck that had to be cut off, not far from a plastic bag which was never tested. -The criminologist and medical examiner, both concluded that the twine could not have wrapped around Conner’s neck accidentally. Dr. Cyril Wecht noted, "never in a million years." -Laci had a missing neck that is not consistent with any known disarticulation in aqueous environments. -Laci's uterus was at least 10 cm (3.9") smaller than it should have been, explaining why the incision to remove Conner was not visible on her body, and the injured 9th rib, postmortem injury is in the same location where such an incision would have been made.

@georgialee6755 Yet, a tip came in that was talked about on America's most wanted 4 days after Todd and Pearce were arrested. He said he had a conversation with two men who were bragging about Laci’s murder. He also said he knew where the first man lived with his mother; his mother has the same last name. The last name is worth mentioning because four days earlier, the Modesto Police had encountered the Mother. She was present at her neighbor’s home when police came looking for the Medina’s stolen property. There was a strong connection between the Doe family and burglar Steven Todd. Certainly, this would merit follow-up, especially since the AMW operator stated this caller was 100% sure.

So, 11 witnesses say they saw Lacey AFTER Scott went on his fishing trip. If just ONE of those witnesses was correct, then Scott simply could NOT have done this murder. The only way they could find him guilty is if ALL ELEVEN witnesses who say they saw Lacey alive were wrong or lying. That certainly would constitute reasonable doubt to me. The Police disregarded these witnesses statements, i believe, because of something known as "Confirmation bias". The Police believed these witnesses must be wrong, because as stated, they said Lacey was already dead. That's the mental picture they had. Scott's behavior further fed this bias. When we have a picture in our mind of what we believe to be true, the mind tends to look for things to confirm that "picture", and disregard any input to our brain that contradicts that "picture." Pilots face this problem when dealing with issues with their plane because they largely depend on instruments, instruments that can, at times, give contradictory information. Faced with this contradictory information, the brain reverts to Confirmation Bias. Our brains tend to look for information that confirms what we think to be true, and disregard information that contradicts that picture. Confirmation Bias, has, unfortunately cost the lives of many passengers and crew on airliners, so this is no joke, nor just a theory. Hopefully, it will not cost Scott Peterson HIS life, as well. As he is facing the death penalty, this is just too real a phenomenon. Police are trained to trust their "gut." They're also taught that the killer is usually someone close, forming a mental picture very quickly that can easily lead to confirmation bias. Just look at the Vallejo Police handling of the Denise Huskins case. They were so blinded by Confirmation Bias, they totally ignored evidence that was staring them in the face. They were 110% sure, ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE they were right. But they were WRONG. Was there other evidence, other signs, which the Police investigating Scott dismissed because their theory was already "confirmed" by this kind of bias? For instance, were any boats stolen in the area following the murder, a boat that those burglars seen in the neighborhood might have used to dump the body in the Bay after hearing on the news about Scott's boat, if they indeed committed the crime? Did the Police even think about that, or look to see? Did they even test the blood found in the Van found burned? Or, were they, also, 110% sure, ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE they were right? Though I can't say for sure one way or the other, regarding Scott's guilt or innocence, I do know the death penalty is FINAL. With eleven witnesses to explain away, I personally think the Death sentence should be reconsidered. If you doubt, watch the Mentour Pilot youtube channel, you'll see how real, AND DEADLY, Confirmation Bias is. Also remember, there is no physical or forensic evidence to support a guilty verdict. Most people who aren't career criminals make mistakes, leave evidence behind. Yet there is none. Put someone to death based on THAT? Trial by Media, IMHO.

It devastated me to hear what happened. Throughout the whole ordeal, Laci's family went through absolute HELL!!! And what did Scott Peterson do? Scott only worried about Scott!! He was carrying on multiple affairs, he was so financially in debt, then bought a boat! He didn't even once looked concerned for Laci and their child!!! Scott Peterson proved he is a Narcissist and a psychopath!!! Innocent men don't cheat on their pregnant wives, and they certainly don't get caught trying to flee the country. His family was complacent in helping him try to flee. Laci's own mother knew something was wrong when Scott called her to say, "Laci is missing." He did NOT say, "I can't find Laci!" He said specifically, "Laci's missing." He already knew Laci was dead. He set EVERYTHING UP because he wanted to be with single mom Amber Fry. Scott grew up with a single mother, its not hard to psychoanalysis Scott Peterson!!! He should stay in Prison for life because he is a predator and dangerous!!! (Harris objects repeatedly) Delucchi: "Sustained, sustained, sustained." Geragos: "Ever go out into the fields where they have those circular patterns?" CEMENT DID MATCH THE SAMPLE IN THE DRIVEWAY GEBLER: Yes. In our sample we found fly ash, cement, pea gravel and sand, similar to what was described by Mr. O'Neill. GERAGOS: Does that mean that the cement that was used in the anchor and the cement that you've collected here and the cement sample that you also observed, does that mean that they all are one and the same? GEBLER: They're all consistent. They all have, they all have all, from what I saw, the, the, the anchor and these materials are consistent with each other. GERAGOS: What does that mean? GEBLER: With the concrete. GERAGOS: You say they're consistent. Does that mean they have all the same components? GEBLER: Yes, sir. The States expert didnt know the difference between a sub base and the actual concrete. How could he, since he didn't even go to the scene, Gebler however did. I highly doubt a 153 lb pregnant woman wrapped in a tarp wouldn't be spotted in all those searches. C'mon... they couldn't find a single alleged anchor because Brocchini made it up. The "distinctive circles" that Brocchini said were on the trailer resembled rectangular shapes from cement bags from work he did at house in September. The house across the street was being robbed at the time of Laci"s disappearance. Scott Peterson went fishing in a tiny boat in the bay which was shallow waterbwhich is by far the dumbest place to dump a body from a small boat. The police advertised his whereabouts on the news for everyone to hear giving the real murders the perfect dumping ground. You can't dump a body from that boat without tipping over. He was dumb enough to dump in shallow water but smart enough to not leave a shred of DNA evidence in the house or the truck and a single transference hair in the storage where house. Did I mention the multiple signtings of Laci and the break in witnessed across the street from their house? I mean, it's surprising because he seems guilty but he didn't do it and the investigation was a sham. The police had an opportunity to find her killers and they failed. To my mind, the evidence that most strongly points to guilt, is the evidence that he made the extra concrete anchors, which were missing. The fact she was found in the bay, where he had been fishing, missing her arms, legs and head, which appeared to have been detached due to the working of the currant on her decomposing, chained down body, makes those missing extra anchors very significant indeed. His defenders claim the kidnapper/s through her into the bay to frame Scott. But I had not heard any explanation for the state of her body and the missing anchors. Other related facts in evidence strengthen the case against him. But I think that set of facts alone, prove beyond reasonable doubt, that he is guilty as charged. Personally, I think it was Conner that he didn't want in the world. Had Lacy not been expecting, I expect he would have simply carried on his affair, and possibly divorced Lacy. But he didn't want 20 years of child support hanging over him. He is a psychopath, IMO, with no problem murdering inconvenient people.

The fact that he went fishing in December in San Francisco Bay is suspect. Northern California is extremely foggy during that time of year and you have zero visibility. You do not drive on such days unless it’s absolutely necessary. Fishing 90 minutes away from your home is not a necessity especially when there are fishing holes closer than 90 minutes away from Modesto. As many times as I have heard about this case, I don’t recall if Scott has ever went fishing prior to this. It is also suspect that he would buy a boat shortly before his wife comes up missing. He didn’t buy it the previous year and went on a few fishing trips then used it prior to Lacey disappearing. A man who doesn’t go fishing suddenly buys a boat and goes fishing in the worst weather that a seasoned fisherman would never go in. He chose a foggy day because he knew no one would be out there plus no one would be able to see him with all the fog.

If *no one or nothing* could ever change your mind-including concrete evidence from the actual killer-then you are an illogical, hopeless case of emotional religious-like fervor for your emotionally based belief systems, even when shown otherwise. This in NOT something of which to be proud…and to openly brag about in the comments. 😑

Burglars don't remove a victim they killed to a hidden location, nor do murderers for hire posing as burglars. Lacy's body was missing head, arms, and most of the legs, which suggests weighting down at the ankles and wrists, and in combination with her body not being found for almost 4 months reasonably concludes that she was at the bottom of the bay during that time. Burglars simply do not plan to anchor down a body in the bay. Whoever tried to hide Lacy's body at the bottom of the bay did so because they had a very, very vested interest in it not ever being found. Add in the fact that Peterson made a concrete "boat anchor", with evidence pointing to an additional four "anchors" and it all begins to shape a body of evidence that is internally consistent and removes reasonable doubt.

If the state of Laci's body was indeed consistent with having been anchored down, then I agree this is pointing towards Scott's guilt.

@@ronald3836 It’s actually not. The state’s anthropologist that testified explained that the condition of Laci’s body was consistent with how a human body decomposes in water. She was asked by Mark Geragos if there was anything about her body/missing limbs that could be linked to anything other than natural decomposition and she answered no.

@@allegory7638 I did. It’s in Alison Galloway’s testimony. She was the state’s anthropologist. GERAGOS: And if I understand correctly, as far as Laci Peterson, your opinion that she was in a marine environment for three to six months. This disarticulation that you talk about, is that something that you have seen before? GALLOWAY: Yes. GERAGOS: And disarticulation basically just means that certain portions of the body end up being separated from the torso? GALLOWAY: That's correct. GERAGOS: Okay. And that happens as a natural phenomenon when -- or as a process of decomposition? GALLOWAY: That's correct. GERAGOS: And there is nothing that connects that necessarily to weights or anything else; isn't that correct? GALLOWAY: As far as I know, there is nothing. GERAGOS: There is nothing that connects -- GALLOWAY: That I have seen that would connect it to anything other than decomposition.

The LA innocence project is wasting money, time and resources they could use on a truly innocent person. Laci's boy was due a month after mine. I look at my son rn and think of how Connor and Laci were so cruelly taken out of this world by someone that was supposed to love and protect them, and Connor never got the chance at life my son has.

You mean Conner (baby) who was determined to be alive until Jan 3rd by both the States expert and the Medical examiner? Furthermore, Dr Charles March testified there is no way that Scott and Laci Peterson's unborn baby could have died any earlier than Dec. 29, 2002. Dr Allison Galloway, the States own expert and Forensic anthropologist determined the baby could have even been alive as far along as Jan 14th. How is he guilty if Laci was alive after the 24th? Conners body was above the water break and high tide line if he was in the ocean? his left ear get permanently flattened against his head, and a rectangular piece of material was over it? No animal feeding on Conner whatsoever? Plastic wrap get knotted around his neck that had to be cut off, not far from a plastic bag which was never tested? Dr. Cyril Wecht, who examined Conner's body but who did not testify, told Greta van Susteren that Conner's head measured 28 cm circumference and his neck measured 20 cm (On the Record, October 27, 2004). 28 cm = 11.02360 inches; 20 cm = 7.87400 inches. He confirmed the measurements in another interview with Fox News, and expressed his disbelief that the twine accidentally wrapped around Conner's neck. He also conjectured about the baby being in a bag. Laci's uterus was at least 10 cm (3.9") smaller than it should have been? Certainly explains why the incision to remove Conner was not visible on her body, and the injured 9th rib, postmortem injury is in the same location where such an incision would have been made.

There is *always* someone who says that for every case they review. Thankfully, for those who are justifiably freed, the project doesn’t care how the public feels. Logic & law over emotionality is essential to ensure that we don’t imprison or execute the wrong person.
