Love your videos man, great work! I'm not a collector of pre-painted figures myself, I paint garage kits, but it's so nice to be able to see what's happening with pre-painted figures every month in such a clear and well organized way. You do a fantastic job evaluating figures on their own merits instead of pushing your preferences into every commentary. I'd call that wat of sewing fabric "diamond pleats" or "diamond quilting". When it's something like a couch or a bedrest where there's buttons it's "diamond tuft" instead.

That Sakura Miku is stunning. I’m not a Miku collector but that one is really tempting! The pattern or material you were questioning is quilting or a quilted pattern. Looks kinda puffy. If it’s not puffy though, it’s not called quilted. Maybe just a diamond pattern. Love your videos - thanks!

I know I shouldn't be surprised when a bunch of guys say, 'I know nothing about dress up games,' but dress up Nikki(came before shinning Nikki) had so many adds up around 3 or 4 years ago (maybe further back). It's mind boggling to me that this game isn't that well known among people outside the community.

Thanks for another great video! I can share a bit of information about the Nikki figure, she's the main character from a franchise of game but this figure is specifically of her from the game Shining Nikki as it says in the name. Paper Innovation, or Paper Games as we know them better as, are the owners of the license so I would think they're handling the distribution of the figure while Apex is the manufacturer. That's just my speculation though, I unfortunately haven't been able to confirm that information so anyone can feel free to correct me. All the games Nikki is from are fashion-centered which sounds like prime picking for scale figures as there are so many amazing outfits in the games, but until now all we've gotten are one Nendo and two small and cheap figures that really don't have much detail. I'm glad they're finally putting out a proper scale for the game series and I hope to see many of the great outfits from the game receive the scale treatment. I have my fingers crossed for the outfit called Star Sea to get one🤞

The pop up parade bases annoy me because I have the Fairy Tail ones and now have a mix of the two bases 😅 I really want the Nikki with Momo figure, but she comes out right after the FuRyu Sakura and I don't think I want two big purchases back to back. Also I spent enough money in the Nikki games I feel like I should just get her for free. I was addicted to those dress up games for a bit😂

I almost bought the suisei figure instantly, but I found her chin to be extremely sharp in a way that really put me off. I dont know if that was just me. I would love to know how other people feel about her.

These pre order videos are quite helpful, not just to get an overview but a second thought on things. I am still on the fence about the tatsumaki figure - it is overprized, but it is the only one currently I wanna get. My favorite figures of this video are Miku, Ryze and Power, but i do not care collecting any of them (yet)

Getting the two Senran Kagura figures to add to my growing Senran Kagura collection.

Pre-ordering from Buyee is pretty chill. I do so occasionally with Garage Kits from Booth. You pay uprfront, Buyee informs you, when they managed to buy the item for you and once it is released, it will be send to Buyee. From there it is handled like any other order you make with them^^ As for your concerns with the Bocchi no Rock figures, how about you take the pictures of the figures and put them next to each other with a graphic program? It might not be the best solution, but it may be enable you to get a feel on how they will look next to each other.

My god I thought there was gonna be a pre-sale for a 1/1 scale Suisei figure because that was the exact same figure they showed at Holo Expo 2024. She looks amazing at this scale too.

Kashino, blah blah, yeah that's a given. That Autonomous Doll Bamiru actually has two versions. One that is nude, and one that is clothed. So basically you can get her cast off or not, but you are stuck with your pick. Personally I would only want the clothed version anyways, so I kinda wish more figures worked like this. Saves the headache of having to fiddle with the parts to display them how you want and/or the seems or tight/loose pieces. Though an argument is certainly there for paying more, for less options. You are right about her doll design being unique though as well, even ignoring that she's a hyper busty Cansu design.

The Tatsumaki and Fubuki are the only ones I considered but ultimately decided to wait. For mostly the same reasons, the body sculp is nice, but the face is kinda meh and the price is.... wow... The fact that I already have the FREEing contributed to the decision. I wonder if the Krazy Art set will ever come out....

I’m really happy to see more scales for JoJo! I just got into it last summer and was really disappointed by the limited figure options for such a popular series. If you aren’t into the chibi appearance of nendoroids then you’re left with the super action statues that look more like the character but they are so small-barely taller than a nendoroid and the joints which I’m not a fan of. All made by the same company for the most part. They have the odd scale figure with some rare characters which I appreciate them doing and some really unique figures that are eye catching regardless if you know the reference or not. I hope Medicos Entertainment and other companies move more into the affordable and creative scale figures. Jojo is a very unique series with the potential to have one of a kind figures with characters and their stands or other characters if they are brave enough to do more than a character standing still with a boring pose. Definitely eyeing down Johnathan Joestar and Dio statue and Made in Heaven scale figure. Great video as always!!! 😁🔥

I own both their Himeko and Ochaco figures and they are both very nice, in my opinion.

1:08:46 Kirin Yuu isn't exactly a dragon, but a Chinese mythological creature called a kirin or qilin. Their head usually resembles a dragon as seen with her horns but the body usually resembles a goat, deer, horse or ox, hence the strange looking tail :3

Interesting you thought / felt that way vs. the Nijika figure and set... my interpretation was that each one was intended to capture their base character rather than match expression across a set? I mean, Bocchi and Ryo are naturally "serious", so I get it... but a serious Nijika or Kita would feel equally off IMO.... Thanks as always for the videos btw! Always love the 2nd opinion even though I constantly monitor figure releases myself...

I love the Shima Rin figure but not for that price. If they needed to simplify the desk and chair or reduce the scale to get the price down I think that would've made more sense. Maybe a non scale sized to match with figmas or something.

The Cirno and Senran Kagura bunnies are the ones I'm most interested in here. It's such a shame about Spiritale. I was really debating on which Miku to get, and I fell in love with the recently released one as well as the Polaris ver.. Now I don't know if I can trust them. If they really fixed up the old Miku and did a re-release with the revised version I might be interested, but who knows.

It seems we do share the same opinion on the FREEing Senran Kagura gals. The games are a bit corny, but I do like them. Mainly wanted Homura, the tanlines and the white suit really makes her standout compared to your avg. 1/4 Bunny and make it very unique. I'll be waiting for the aftermarket though, well every other Senran Kagura 1/4 has tanked so I assume this one will as well. Oh wow, I remember playing through all or many of the Yakuza games. I've played 0-7, and the only one I haven't finished is Infinite Wealth and Lost Judgement which I am currently playing through. At least for the main line games. Uh, the first thing I noticed about that Kiryu are the seamlines on the arms and I went. Yeah, this ain't it. I have the Amakuni Power preordered from Crunchyroll, and it is supposed to come out this month so I'll see if I actually get that or not. The one by Claynel is more dynamic, but I don't know. . its really expensive. Maybe if it bins. The main thing is that funnily enough Power currently has the best figures right now. Denji and Makima sure don't. Sometimes I sort of feel bad when good sculpts come out of characters or whatnot I don't care about. I sure don't want to go down the Miku rabbit hole and I don't really watch Hololive so I don't feel like I am the target demographic.

Nothing really interesting for me this month. The bunny elf girl by BINDing is based on a Houtengeki's design, but they quite messed up her head, and I can't associate it with the artist's style anymore. Cirno is cute as hell, though. But I'm not starting to collect Touhou figures. I really enjoy the games and the world building, but it's too much of a rabbit hole. ;)

Another month with nothing very appealing for me. The Ques Q Fate figure looks OK but her weird looking and space wasting weapons make it a lot less appealing.
