I had no idea you vinyl collection was so large, I'm so jealous! Very happy you've been good about not buying gear, 2023 I was good, but I'm sure when I'm doing my taxes I'll be surprised with the mistakes I made 😑 I'm gonna be annoying and ask questions why keep the MPC ONE since you have the X? Good point with the Minifreak, the VST version to me is just like the hardware to me, so I don't even know why I'd hook up the physical keyboard unless literally to make videos. Look forward to the album when you finish it... here's to 1000 subs in early 2024 my friend!

Awww man, space is shaping up nice! Huge improvement and looks efficient. I’m always grateful to see one of the MPC Gang hats in a studio. 🫡 I have to go back and see what you’ve been doing with the Elektron stuff. I’m hoping to do more experiments this year, but I opted to try the Hologram Chroma Console for more modulation and stuff, and I’m gonna see what I come up with. Congrats on the fresh start and hopefully shedding some of the mental weight of maintaining and housing all that gear. 💯🤜💥🤛

Ah ... I love the Minifreak! Personally I've found using it on the hardware to be much, much more intuitive and fun than the VST, which I just haven't used very much - I think it's the layout of the VST with the three pages, it really doesn't work with the way I want to make patches. But being able to sync patches up and use them in a DAW so easily has been really fantastic. Glad to see your new space is treating you well :) [I also just upgraded my camera actually, and would recommend it - I got a used ZVE-10 and a rode mic to make it easy to shoot and import, and it's made a big difference!]

If you do live shows after your album is out, I’d be curious to see if integrating the 404mk2 into your live set is something you would enjoy. I don’t have one but I’m curious! Just an idea. Love your content:)
