@@lilykongaika15it says 3 because Alex is leaving now for 2, then next year Colton leaves for 2. So by the time Colton is back, it'll be 3 years until Alex sees his younger brother Colton

Because while Alex is on his mission a year later Colton is going on his mission so then when Alex gets back Colton still has one year left of his mission! Hope this helped

Because Alex leaves now for a 2 year mission. Colton next year for 2 year mission. Alex will be home a year after Colton goes on his mission. They will both be on their missions part of the time at thame time.

They all leave for 2 years but one doesn’t leave for a year so they won’t see each other for 3 years total.

Some context for this video please? I notice from the last video similar to this, someone was leaving for a couple years to do a mission. Idk if these are the boys and in the last one- i understand they're all family members.
