4 жыл бұрынTangled the Series is over and we are all left pretty heartbroken. I, for one, am a little salty we didn't get a duet between Cassandra and Rapunzel during the finale episode. The saltiness led me to write a song based on Cassandra's unspoken feelings towards her princess and how much it hurts her to let go. I have written a song in quite a few years so I hope this turned out in a way everyone enjoys! I sure had fun writing it!

It's a really good song too, it's beautiful and your singing voice is beautiful! A lot of fan-made songs are really bad and I was kind of expecting this one to be(no offense, nothing against you personally-) but it's actually super beautiful. It's almost too good to be true.😭 Cassunzel is my OTP.

I think a spin off series focusing on Cass having to deal with the trauma of her past while traveling around the world and making new friends. Maybe meet someone who can relate to her and help her deal with her past and help her to be a better version of herself also maybe fight off a bad guy or deal with her ghost mom or something like that. It would also have some funny moments. And by the end she eventually comes back home to Corona and be reunited with Rapunzel, Eugene, her dad ,and Varian. Plue everyone else. That would make a great show.

There were actually plans to have a very similar spin off for Varian, but Disney wouldn't greenlight it cause it wouldn't have Rapunzel in it.

I made a world in my head where Cass went out with the guards looking for Eugene that day and while looking she stumbled upon the tower then found Rapunzel and decided to help her see the lanterns and they fell in love, then once she was reunited with her parents Cass’s father would take her seriously since she brought back the lost princess and Tangled the series ensues but with slight changes. Cass doesn’t take the moonstone because her anger didn’t build that much, no one underestimated her because she was the captain’s daughter and the one who brought back the princess. The reveal of gothel being her mother would still hurt but not as much and I think in those circumstances Cass would have told Raps and she would be there to comfort her and the two live happily. That’s my current head canon and I’m sticking to it.

Great song! I agree that I wish they had a duet together (I dont think anyone asked for one of Cass and Varian, despite how great the song was haha.) But at least we got a love ballad from Raps about how the girl who was everything would give anything to have Cass again. And the scene of them stuck in their cage of black rocks, we didn't even need a song to understand their emotions. And Cass saying "I love you Raps" really just did more than a song could have. Would have been the icing on the cake though. I can really see Eden singing this song! Great job!

Although I did have a minor freak out when Cass sings "what if my hand fell..." I was like "well this escalated quickly." But then I was good when she finished with "on your rosy cheek" pretty relieving haha

They did have crossing the line which I thought was pretty good. You could see the pain in her eyes at the beginning when Rapunzel is crying out for her. When she says Cassandra and then Cass.

Basically the part of her that loves Raps in more ways than one. Honestly, I can think of at least 3 existing songs that would fit for Cassunzel and the reasoning for them. 1) My heart will go on by Celine Dion (reason being: it could work as another goodbye song between them before Cass rides off into the sunset.) 2) My Immortal by Evanescence (reason for this: in an alternate ending to the series, Rapunzel died when neutralizing the moonstone in season 2, and after saving the kingdom, they give her a funeral. Shortly afterwards, Cassandra sings this song in memory of her best friend.) 3) Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen and performed by Canadian Tenors (reason for this: it could be the way they reconcile properly in the second to last episode instead of Cass embracing villainy.)

Oh my gosh I'm crying. It's so sad and hopeful at the same time and I don't know what to feel. I feel like they should have at least had Cass sing a little part in the finale song; maybe about her hope for the future or something as she's riding off into the distance.
