It is time to say GOODBYE! Parting is such sweet sorrow and all that. We are moving cross country from Philadelphia PA to Portland OR, which means leaving behind the original "Mandic Lab" studio space. Let's take one final look at my maker 3d printer KZfaq Studio in this shop tour video. I'll show you behind the scenes of a 3D printing makerspace and a bit of how the videos are made, complete with audio and video equipment.

One takeaway from the extended tour was that I am glad I'm not the only one who's shop looks like this haha! At times I feel like a straight up hoarder with pathways made to get through all the stuff that's accumulated on every possible horizontal space. Slowly working my way into organizing it so there's a cohesive workflow but it's definitely a challenge.

Safe trip! I do wonder always, the gear and stuff you have must have cost a ton, is that all investment from when you built custom cars?

Mixture of both but the tools are of course primarily from when I worked on cars. Which taught me to invest in my business heavily. Not the healthiest mindset most likely.

Really impressive studio/shop, cool to see bits of previous videos scattered around. I saw the Ender 3 V3 on the old workbench, is that ever going to make a return after all the problems found on it during the setup stream?
@MandicReally
@MandicReally 4 күн бұрын
I actually just gave away the Ender 3 V3. It ended up being a wiring issue. The person I gave it to fixed it and gave it to a family member as their first printer. I just did not have time to mess with it for a video or stream unfortunately. And it irritated me too much to want to. ha
