"What would I be doing if I weren't afraid" is something we should all regularly be asking ourselves. By the end of their lives, most people say that their biggest regrets are not as much the mistakes they made, as the things that they never did. Life is short, and most of our fears are trivial in the grand scheme of things, but they can cheat us out of so much that is meaningful if we let them. Thanks for having the courage and adventurous spirit to take on the farm tour! It has already informed and inspired a great many of us.

Broke my heart to see Jonah. He became a young man on that bus. Taking on so many responsibilities and wanting to help take care of things. He graduated from finding joy in playing to finding joy in working. I can see why Maple meant so much to him, even if he may not really know why himself. As for Rebekah, as adventurous as that chapter was, I can imagine it must be a relief to be moving on to another part of the book.

Jonah I cried with you. It was more than a bus, it was home for a while. I think I felt a little sad everytime I moved and had to say goodbye to my old home yet exited for the new homes. Looking forward to seeing you plant all your fruit trees, berry bushes and nuts trees for the future and getting new piglets

🍃RHODES FAMILY🍃 - I am so grateful to have all the memories you gave me from all the farms and places Maple so graciously took you. Oh 🌾Rebekah SO very glad you are feeling better! I have a lump in my throat saying goodbye to your beautiful bus home. Jonah is such a loving heart. (please give him a hug from me) He is old enough to have the strongest sweet and powerful memories you all made. Maple brought you to my home in Oregon. I would not have missed you ya'll for the world. 🍃To meet you all- 🍃To watch your precious children just being kids in the park - 🍃To be able to face paint lovely, sweet Lily and adorable Mr. Brown was a highlight in my life. And to see dear Josiah watching out for little brother,Gideon! Josiah is wonderful boy! All your children are just sweet, precious, just really good, such well adjusted kids with amazing parents. Thank you Justin, Rebekah, Jonah, Josiah, Lily and Gideon Rhodes for all your energy and hard work in greeting all of us across this nation. Thank you for sharing YOUR 🇺🇸Great American Farm Tour of all 50 states with us❤🌼💙 (I was having a tough day, but I wouldn't have missed meeting your amazing family for the world)

It was hardest on Jonah when y’all made that first swing back thru NC during the trip, and it’s hard on him now. He is a loyal soul that loves home and things of home. Seeing the back of the bus pulling away never coming back did it for me. I understand a tiny part of his sadness.

I knew that Jonah would be the one most affected. I have enjoyed watching Jonah over the past couple years grow from a little boy into becoming a young man. I think the trip was a defining moment in Jonah's life that will make him into the man he will become. Jonah, real men do cry sometimes. It's a sign of being strong, its not a weakness. You all have a great story. Tim

Justin, don't you think for a moment that all you have to show for it all is the KZfaq videos and a movie. You all have countless memories that will be a part of you forever. You have made lifelong friends along the way, and are immeasurably wealthier for that alone. And last but certainly not lease, you have taken millions of us along with you on the journey and inspired so many to 'just plant'. It is a bittersweet moment for you, but keep in mind all that you have gained along the way and how much the next family will benefit from their adventures.

What to say? Of course it's an emotional event, even for us arm chair watchers. We feel sad too that this chapter of your lives is definitely over, but there is more to come and having filmed it all you can always go back to recall the memories. Us too so thanks for that! I was diagnosed in 2000 with breast cancer when we lived just north of Asheville, NC. After 6 months of chemo and moving a couple of years later and making new homes in various states we've had our own interesting and fun life. Recently at 67 years old I was again diagnosed August 2018 with uncurable stage IV breast cancer that came back that has settled in my bones and liver. We don't know how much time I have left but your channel along with other families that are also filming and sharing their creative lives gives me such joy and happiness. God bless your own family and viewers as we have been blessed. We have so much to be grateful for...

I built a bus into a motorhome in 1979 and drove it across country twice. I put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into it. I too had a tremendous sense of loss when I sold her. I think of her often and wish I'd been able to hang onto her. I think often of building another one. :) I'm delighted you had a wonderful experience with yours and have been able to move on though. I'm delighted your son can have his feelings and express them with you. You are giving him a great gift. I was a family therapist for many years, can't tell you how powerful that is. God bless and keep you all. www.dougdobbs.com/buspix/buspage01.htm

It's always the case, go on a vacation to get some rest and relaxation, and trudge back into work on the first day back, EXHAUSTED, LOL. I know it was a working trip with the future in mind being more successful. I, and many times my family have traveled across the country in a motorhome of some sort. The memories are so much fun to remenice with those family members and friends. I drove professionally over 1 million miles as a trucker, and although it was hard work, I can Bragg that I've been in every state in the lower 48, and got paid to do so. Love your family and your contribution to better everyone's homestead lives.

"Afoot & lighthearted I take to the open road, healthy, free, the world before me, The long brown path before me leading wherever I chose. Life is a book, events are pages. Life with the Bus is but a chapter of your family book. A nice chapter, tiring but nice. Greater things yet to come! That 3206 is a very good engine. Cat made it obsolete.
