I am all for this new channel!!!! All the things you said about not wanting KZfaq to be your job, how you didn't want your channel to be centered around making money, it being a job; that's the main reason why I never turned art into a job. Because for me I draw, I create when I feel like it, not because I have to. I knew that turning a passion into a job wouldn't keep it as a passion. For some that works but not for me, and I know I'm not the only one out there who feels that way. Art is a fun hobby that brings me joy and happiness and I always wanted to keep it that way. Edit: I hope that your new channel brings you happiness and fulfillment. Also I hope you enjoy the new job you'll be starting. No matter what you post I'll be there to watch

I remember watching you in middle school absolutely obsessing over my "art style" and worried I would take be able to "find" it. Now I'm in my 20s and my art has come leaps and bounds. It feels like I'm being taken back to that era of my life out of nowhere. I don't even remember what happened to all of my favorite art youtubers or why i stopped watching them. I just sort of never saw anyone again. i will most certainly be joining you at your new channel

For me personally it's just like Alice described. I grew up. A lot of my past favourite art KZfaqrs are still very stagnant with their content and at some point I was just to old for that and pretty much grew out of it. I only still watch a single creator from that time because they also changed their content with age and whatever suited them best and it corralined with me aging. Sometimes I miss that time but I'm just to grown for them now and their target audience is just different. But that's why I'm happy Alice is doing this, I've always liked her and hope we can reconnect that way

Hello! It is so good to hear from you. I think it took guts to share your true feelings . We all and change and I know how you feel about having to always think of the money aspect especially when it comes to the creative side of life. It has been a pleasure following you all these years. I am happy and proud of you. You must do what feels right for “you.” I look forward to seeing your new channel. You are a delightful young woman. A very talented artist. A lovely human being! You bring much joy to so many people. Warm Regards, Martina

I completely relate to you! I haven't gone viral and am still very small on KZfaq but I actually love it this way! Sure it would be nice to be monetized and someday maybe that will happen for me, but for now I love sharing my art and being able to connect with a small community of artists who actually like my art. Also I love the low stakes or just sharing a little sketchbook session and not forcing myself to have a perfect finished piece of art by the end of the video because for me the beauty of KZfaq is to share the messy sketchy beginnings! Thank you for being my KZfaq Artist role model and I can't wait to see what you get into on your fresh start! ♥

I knew for sometime this was going to happen and i'm sad that it did. Alice is the reason why I started collecting stickers and stuff to stick in sketchbooks and has been an inspiration for me for years. Alice is right, the algorithm is awful. I miss one day of a new upload and I never see another one from that creator again for weeks. 8 days it took for me to see this video, 2 weeks since I last saw a Jazza video and nothing pops up on the recommended page or the sidebar of the video except for stuff i'm not interested in.

You are not alone, other KZfaqrs I regularly watch do not pop up either eventhough I manually seek them out several times a week. Sometimes in life it just things completely beyond your control and all you can do is move forward. Excited to see what your new channel brings.

You're making a difference. You know so many mediums. I am in the process of learning art. I love it. But it is continual. Artists and instructors vary in methods and personal style. If I could draw, I would be happy to instruct. But instead, I watch videos, study, and struggle. There's so much to learn. Therefore, new pupils and aspiring artists as myself are coming aboard, even in their later years. Take courage and be who you are to be.

So much wisdom spoken here. It's not only important to do things, it's important do them for the right reasons. The why of what we do is often the thing that's most fulfilling to us. KZfaq seriously encourages people to focus on popularity and the money, often making it almost impossible to share your true voice. KZfaq wants you to speak, but only the words that make them profit, so there is always a carrot baiting you in that direction. It takes a VERY strong person to pull back and see the truth, and walk away from a channel they devoted all their time and passion to create. This is the first video of yours I have ever seen, yet I feel so proud of you! The world needed joy and excitement back then, but now it needs healing and balance and people to fight back against the insanity and violence. The fact that you realize this is not only because you grew and matured, it's also because your art gives you a deep connection to others, and your intuition guides you. I wish you peace and love, and all the joy in life. ❤

I am the same age as you, and I followed you a little over 8 years ago. I have never commented before, but It has been fun watching your videos and the growth you have gone through. You are an inspiration to so many people, regardless of the view count. :) I will follow you to the new channel as well. This is just the end of a chapter, and I'm excited to see what the next chapter holds for you! Thank you. ❤

Hi Alice, I just wanted to let you know how thankful I am I found you during the pandemic. Like so many other people I was really struggling with the cabin fever and loneliness of the lockdowns, your videos gave me the confidence, knowledge and inspiration to finally try out watercolour. It really gave me a purpose to focus on during a difficult time. I will always be forever grateful to you Alice. I wish you all the best for your future. Thank You ❤

I'll miss watching your vids, Alice, but I certainly hope & pray for your future success in life along with your family. I got a news today that one of my childhood teachers has passed away which made me sad, and this video is another sad news on top of it. But I want to stay on the positive side & wish you the best of luck to a new journey in your life. See you someday soon, Alice. Stay safe, stay blessed. Much love. ❤️

Good bye. You are fabulously talented and deserve fame beyond the tub. Recently they have threatened the watchers. So the tube, like so many platforms are on their way out. Good luck and we will see you you again.

This morning, I was talking with my coworkers about how I taught myself to draw through art KZfaq. I remembered your channel out of the blue, so I decided to look it up because it had been so long and I was curious if you were still posting. As one of the middle schoolers who watched your videos RELIGIOUSLY back in the day - oh, the inescapable three marker challenge - I am so proud of you for taking this step. I actually still have a piece I made that was directly inspired (some might say copied lol) by your one marker challenge, the green one with all of those gorgeous plant textures. I’ll always be grateful for the positive influence you have been on my art and in my life. I wish you the best of luck with your creative practice moving forward. Goodbye HulloAlice, it’s been a journey ❤❤❤

I love your authenticity and refusal to conform to societal norms. This mindset is what will shine in the long run. I know your new channel will be a success. People are getting sick of the polished, hard to achieve highlights. We crave that raw, unfiltered authentic human form. I hold hope that social media will go back to what it used to be. I miss it too. Good vibes to you ✨🤍✨

Yep, this is the first time in a very long time that I've seen your videos. A lot of my favorite artists just stopped being shared with me randomly. I'm sure it happened to others too.
