something is definitely going on here, I would start with the Basics! check the obvious like the crawlspace to see if there is any standing water or something? If that's a no go Maybe hire a Reputable HVAC contractor in your area and have them check the Unit over before winter just to make sure nothing is going on with the unit. How old is this unit if you knew? Definitely want to get this checked out!

@@ADVANHVACyes sir, its 2017, the blower motor is not hot, the condenser motor is, but I read it's supposed to be & its outside the airway & diesnt smell, the inside of the unit is clean. I cant smell anything outside? I've shut off my water heater, I've replaced the elements 2 years ago, I'm going to see if the smell is bad tomorrow, I smell it right now, & I cant see any water under the house, but without going under halfway, I cant look under the addition. Its driving me crazy 🤬 like smoke from a distant fire or musky smell that's borderline bothering me, I'm getting angry, I cant believe I cant find where it's coming from. It started after all these massive rain storms and the humidity got so bad, when I breathe the air out of the vent it smells like fresh air but I'm laying on the bed with the ceiling fan on and it's all I can smell. I've turned off my gas I just can't believe I can't find it, thx

I climbed under the house today, no water period, all pipes connected, & when cars run over the manhole cover, I can hear it in my little bath, the line is not clogged up. I'm laying on the bed, & the smell is driving me crazy! 🤬 ita faint, burnt smell, it has to be the outdoor hvac & I cannot smell one thing outside at the box!? Everything that cools in the box looks like shiny aluminum or stainless steel, nothing looks like its coated with anything like paint,, if I had to take a guess I would say the blower motor is gently giving off a burn smell, the motor is warm to the touch, not hot. The house is cool, it's working fine, when you're walking around you don't really smell it you have to stand still and pretty soon it will be all you can smell and it drives you crazy. I've ordered a capacitor I'll go ahead and swap it out but I got a feeling the motor is about $300 that's a different story. I've been remodeling this home from top to bottom front to back. I need to be buying kitchen cabinets and carpet not taking a chance on blower motors. I'm laying here smelling it now I should be able to go out there and smell that blower motor,, but it doesnt. I climbed up in the attic and I can't smell anything. I almost feel like I'm starting to get a sore throat it's starting to bother me physically and I'm getting extremely angry that I can't find where it's coming from. Obviously I can't afford to call somebody out here for $200 an hour when I can't find the damn smell! I don't know what to do. If anyone walked in this home they could smell it and nobody would believe you can't find where it's coming from. I guess my next step is to shut down the HVAC and see if the air gets better but for the love of God it's going to be over 90 degrees for the next 4 days it couldn't possibly come at a worse time lol damnitt 🤬

3/8” to gas valve from manometer is 1/4” usually when you get a LP conversion kit they come with these adapters. Thanks for watching.
