Damm, outstanding professional work and clean up. Employee had every thing he needed and did not have or leave a mess. Give him a raise, who ever taught him the right way deserves a drink on the house

For 6 months I worked for a retired Coors maintenance man. He loved replacing units with Goodman furnaces. He had been made redundant 15 years or so before. $10 under the table.

Job well done. I wish I could hire you guys here in California. Seems to me most young guys here in Cali aren't interested in blue collar jobs in hvac, electrical, plumbing, construction,etc. All they want to do is computer related stuff. We badly need good people in blue collar trade!

Yeah keep talking out your ass. I have a hvac degree and college degree, graduated from trade school in July and haven’t even landed one interview even for the lowest positions (helper/install/apprentice) just rejection after rejection. I even already have one year of experience doing installs. You all complain and bitch about us young guys not wanting to work but from what I’ve seen it’s the old shmucks not hiring 🤷♂️ especially when McDonald’s and Panda Express starting at 18 an hour pays more to flip burgers than most hvac positions in GA.

Well can you blame young people when tech jobs regularly pay $200k+ in California whereas blue collar guys are lucky to start at $20/hr.? I don't know how you can compare the two. Completely different industry with different skill set.

That Goodman furnace is made in Houston Texas and it comes with an unbelievable installation manual explaining everything that you need to do to install that furnace if people would just read it they would know what to do. Great looking job love sheet metal work without that nasty foil tape on it.

Thank you for uploading your video. The Plumbers around here are either too busy or wanting "an arm, a leg and my first born" to install a new gas furnace for me. I bought a gas furnace similar to the one you are installing. I have a question kind sir. What do I need to buy in addition to the natural gas furnace? like the "box" you attached to the right of your furnace and what duct work do I need to buy and the PVC pipe size and "elbow" or "angle" couplers. Anything you help you can give me, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you have an account where I can support your channel, I will forever be thankful for any assistance.

I would like to see the termination of the two PVC vents Exhaust and inlet fresh air. Did you go through the roof? Some just put the exhaust out the roof and terminate the fresh air in the attic maybe close to a roof jack? How did you do it?

One question, do you use cement on the joint between the furnace and the outlet(vent) pipe? I know the inlet pipe is connected with the rubber clamp. Also what type of junction box did you use for the electrical connection?
@newfdogg2 жыл бұрын
My landlord just had a Goodman furnace with central air installed and the furnace guy never put a tube or pipe for the fresh air intake, is that normal to just suck the air from the furnace room which is fairly a small room?

I don't think it'd be a problem. That's how it was put together on my furnace and it's 8 years old now.
