Hermitcraft 9 Episode 4: The Base Is DONE!

2 жыл бұрынHermitcraft season 9 episode 4! We start out big with our Minecraft let's play ep 4 on the Hermitcraft 9 server with a massive starter treehouse base. The design of the survival base will be elven-themed. Once we complete the treehouse, I'll build my dream Minecraft build.
We start the episode by defeating the Wether Bose to get a Nether Star and getting new enchanted diamond gear and tools. Next show you the off-camera work Grian, Tango, and I have been doing to create a massive villager trading hall. Also, we finally complete our survival starter base in the tree with a full interior design. I hope you like the design of the treehouse base and can't wait to show you what I have planned for our Megabase for season 9 of Hermitcraft. See you in the next episode!

When you fall in lava don’t just swim on the surface until you lose everything. You can swim to the bottom and build up a tower of blocks to the lava’s surface. Then you can set on the platform until you burn to death or potentially survive. You have a way better chance of saving your gear.

Digging down is also an option especially with the armour and golden carrots. If one is smart about it, all the items can be recovered before despawning.

I feel like it would be really cool to keep that basement area as an underground river. Plus you can turn it into a crystal cavern like youve had in past seasons. It would just be a really cool and different area than youve built thus far this season.

Had no idea until watching this that Scar is disabled but that honestly makes him even cooler to me as another disabled person. Not the same thing but it's just so wonderful to see someone who I can kinda relate to on having troubles with life, who's just so entertaining and fun and optimistic! This knowledge will definitely help me get through hard days a little easier

Tip for accidental lava bath: Dive straight down until you can place blocks then swim up while placing and make yourself a platform. If the situation is dire try to make a room to contain your corpse so your offspring can recover family heirlooms.

Being on a server also presents the option of logging off and asking for help, though digging out a safe hole in the middle of the lava lake is a probably more effort for another hermit than grinding up new gear.

This is the worst tip ever. You're telling us, you would survive diving several blocks down into lava, placing blocks up and then creating a big platform (if you have only a few blocks, items will splatter around and get destroyed anyways)? Seriously? This might work, if you slip right at the edge of a lava lake, no way it works in Scars case without fire resistance potions.

@@seregruin did you see how long Scar lasted? he was recovering health just as fast as he was losing it when he ate the carrot too, he absolutely could have done it and survived, and are you saying it's not even worth attempting? you don't take more damage the deeper you are in lava so it's either try it and die, try it and survive, or don't try it and die anyway you are very ignorant to say it's "the worst tip ever"

Or better option, dive for the bottom and burrow into the netherack. Open the f3 screan before death and screenshot the cords so you can plan your recovery later.

I watched the video very shortly after release so not many comments had more than 10 likes. Besides, this was a month ago + at the time of writing this comment we're going on episode 11, so what does it matter anymore? :D I do appreciate you guiding people doing things, that make life easier for the content creator, but this is a tad bit too late.

Can I just say how much I absolutely LOVE the interior of the tree. It's really refreshing to see interiors that aren't boxy and I admire how you kept the organic part of it all by sectioning it in a way that feels very... natural. The structure is very much how ants burrow their tunnels but instead those ants have elf ears and can spin things into reality. Also those transitions are top-notch and the mischievous tune playing very faintly is just **chef's kiss**

Since Scar survived 50 hours of Minecraft Hardcore, then his constant deaths this season of Hermitcraft is the results of using his 30 years worth of luck in Hardcore. Totally worth every year of luck honestly.

18:05 you know how they sometimes had study rooms in medieval times high in the donjon? You could build like an elven study/learn/research room and the elven twist might be some botany all around the room with a desk in the middle to work and a bookshelf for all the books.

Someone needs to make sacr a resource pack where it makes whatever armor he is wearing invisible, here me out, the majority of scars death is because he is not wearing his armor when in f5 mode because he loves his skin so if he could see his skin whilst being protected he would be alive more often

I love that organic interior! The second basement with the river would be fun to turn into a crystal light river or something else magical. Also I loved the editing on the spin cut reveals for each room. So fun!

SCAR: I just love the emerald brick road here. You take the emerald brick, right, and replace it with another block and in the night the emerald fairy comes and replaces the emeralds back for you to take in the morning. It is just the most wonderful system! I almost peed myself remembering Impulse loosing his mind over it loooooooool (LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!)

I'd make it into a Botanist's Room, the room above it plays music for you and the plants. You could setup some pots and flowers, have a pair of shears laying flat on an item frame, etc. Make it look like you're actually tending to flowers as a Hobby up there. :)

18:00 you could make that upper floor a gear outpost, where you keep your gear you don't use. Put it in display because i know what a pain it could be to store old gear in chests and barrels, and like this you add a little decoration to the room!

18:15 Maybe the room could be an armoury, a spot to keep extra tools and armour in case you die and have to go retrieve your stuff! With all the villagers you could also keep a few extra sets of armour with things like fire resistance for nether trips. You could even call it the Scarmoury!

he should make a spiral stair case going through the roof of which leads to a mini tree house which cannot be seen from the outside exterior of the tree so its like a cool cozy little hangout spot

You should turn one of the rooms in your base into a nice cozy fun library just absolutely loaded with books! A little reading nook, fill it with cozy carpets, music! If you want it calm don’t invite Grian!

Make the loft an Art room. Ton of paintings and a Aisle because Elfs often pick up hobbies in their long lives. As for underground, that magic room makes me think you need a mushroom and crystal cave with amazing magical components.

9:00 that root entrance seems perfect to be an extra entrance from the river could have a bit of a river/cave/tunnel (similar to the potion shop seen here10:58) leading to a small underground dock built into the root

You could make the top of your base a study. Where you have a desk and shelfs filled with plants. It could be a kind of a greenhouse room where you can observe plants.

I’d split things down the middle. You 100% killed the wither without dying, but the wither effect feels like it is a part of the fight (and one you could have survived) so you didn’t survive the fight. A slightly lesser accomplishment, but still really impressive!

You definitely won the Wither fight, it's all about who dies first! 😆 As for the little loft with the bees, I suggest a comfy space for Jellie whenever she shows up. After a long space flight, she deserves a little pampering.

With elves being gracious and refined beings, most of them choose a profession to pursue and commit themselves to. For example one might see a scholarly elf that has his own library in his tree, containing some of the rarest and elusive knowledge, collected from all over the world. Another might have a telescope placed in the highest room of his house, just so that he can gaze upon the stars, trying to discover their lunar secrets. Another elf might dedicate himself to defending his people, becoming a crafter that shapes tree roots into sharp spears and bark into protective armor, for it is the elves most important task to protect the land and its nature from anyone trying to encroach upon it with ill intentions. Another thing that may be possible, is that the residing elf is of high political standing, dedicating a room of his treehouse to entertaining his guests over a cup of tea and a delicious piece of cake. These are my ideas for the final room. Hope you like them!

@@GoodTimesWithScar If you’re quick enough to get there, there’s a new island floating above the lake at spawn. Swim up the waterfall, and you can buy an elytra for 25 diamonds, with the enchantments already added. There’s also a button you can press once, that gives you about a 13% chance of getting a free elytra. The balloon rocket shop is also open. It might be good insurance against another furry death. 🤣😂🤣
