Lyon, are a GIANT in French football, but they currently sit in the bottom 3 of Ligue 1 so they certainly aren't playing like it, so today I'm gonna become their new manager and make them the best team in the world!

I wish youth teams were in the game. They have a CAM, Axel Perez who’s 16 who is absolute class. So fluid with the ball at his feet, small but aggressive, I pray Lyon develops him well because his potential could make him something special

You might be wondering why only the top 2 of Ligue 1 in FC24 directly qualify for the group stage of the UCL instead of the top 3 in real life. The reason is the new format of the UEFA Champions League will appear next season in real life but in the game, it doesn't work like that. Also, it's worth noting that if the French clubs don't do well in European competitions in real life this season, there is a huge possibility that the French top division in the 2024/25 season will only have 2 UCL group stage places. It will completely depend on the 2023/24 UEFA country coefficients ranking (1-season calculation) About relegation, only the bottom 2 of Ligue 1 will get automatically relegated, the third bottom team of the division will have to fight to hold their status in Ligue 1 against one of three teams from 3rd to 5th in Ligue 2.

I remember that crazy period before the 12-13 season. 5 different winners in each edition of Ligue 1, including a Montpellier squad featuring Olivier Giroud. Lyon were bosses back then. Hope they can regain that level again.

You should remember to upgrade the bench in january if you have some budget left, a good bench makes such a big difference in simulations aswell :D

I used the Live Editor on PC, but you can very easily do this on console if you just go into the settings, then edit players, and you increase or decrease their stats to your liking
