Google Analytics 4 Events Not Showing Up in Reports

If you have configured event tracking in GA4, but those events are not appearing in Google Analytics 4 reports, this video is for you. There is a bunch of possible reasons why this happened and I will explain them here.

Thank you for your nice tutorial. How I can see the custom event parameters value before 30 minutes. I can see the custom events parameters value in the real time card, but isn't there any option to get all time custom events value with parameters?

I see a lot of old events in the Events list with "0" results but I don't see some new in few days after they were set up and showed the results. Searching period was checked and swithed several times but looks like GA4 just refuses to show me the actual events. How to delete those old events so that they are not in the Event list at all?

Great video, thank you! I've reviewed the video and still can't seem to put my finger on the issue. Events and conversions are showing up in reports and realtime. They show up on the Engagement > Events, Engagement > Conversions and Engagement > Landing Pages reports, but not the Engagement > Pages and Screens report page. Pages and screens report will show the total event count, but won't show you specific event counts, and the conversions column just shows 0.00 in total and 0.00 regardless of what conversion metric I select. Thresholding is applied, but the event counts should be high enough that there shouldn't be a problem (if I'm understanding thresholding correctly). Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, my UA property was migrated to GA4 but I can't see the user_engagement event. It's not showing up in my GA4. Then when I got to "Engagement - Overview", I see Average engagement time = 0m 00s and Average engagement time per session = 0m 00s Please help.

thanks for the videos - a great way to understand GA4... may I ask a question please Q. on my "Pages and screens" - I can view my most popular webpages, but I have 8 subsections on my website with info & stories. I know one of these subsections is being viewed as people tell me so, but they are not showing up at all on my most popular views - I tried making the listings tab upto 250 pages shown, but still they do not register - have you seen this kind of issue before? Can you please make a video on how to link GA4 to Google Ads without having duplicate data. I can not find anywhere how to do that successfully, every video I see just shows how to link them, but I want no duplicates because I am third party tracking conversions in both google ads and ga4 with same third party and every time i link GA4 to google ads, my data gets messed up and i don't know if there is a way to have GA4 not send conversions to google ads or to have ga4 as a secondary action and not a primary. I hope my question is detailed, and i am sure a lot of others are struggling with this. If you can please make a video on this please, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you

Hi Julius, thanks for the video. I have an issue with an event which is showing as registered in GA4 events report but not in conversion report whereas it's registered as a conversion (ticked in blue) in Admin > conversion How can you explain that and would you have a solution ? Any tip on what to look at when the events for Video Engagement is not showing in GA4? The videos are enbeded on a page. I have checked all your suggestions in this video and not found anything strange in my settings.

I have a different problem. The event is showing up but once I click on the event and want to explore all the data with all the variables I have set, these are empty. The same variables are fully available in the last 30 minutes live view, but now it's been more than 24 hours and there is no other data apart from the number of users, the number of events, and the geographical data. None of the parameters I have set (form ID, message, subject, email, phone) are available in the report, but as I said, they are visible during the live view in GA4. What is the issue here? Thank you.

Sometimes events are not shown because of high cardinality. Use Explorer reports to view them all and Also make sure to wait at least 72 hours for them to populate

@@AnalyticsMania hello sir, I am using google site kit plugins for tracking, no manual or third party plugins used for tracking, when I compare Woocommer analytics order report most of order id is missing in ga4 report. Example ga4 show 40 transaction and Woocommer show 60 order received. This is happening my 6-7 site, my friend also face same problem. Please make video if possible, lots user face same kind of problem. 👍👍

@@AnalyticsMania Respected Man, I learned alot from you, you are true professional, I am worry about the UA is shutting down from 1st July, What I noticing, GA4 is lacking some option> specially the Realtime data is lacking in GA4, in UA it is very easy to check the realtime data of "Traffic Sources" if it is Organic or Direct, it is reflecting in orange bar with % > I did not find this in GA4, I think google does not want people to know real time traffic source onward, please provide me the solution or Make a video on GA4 realtime data setting... So if the property has thresholding enabled, there is no way to turn it off?

I'm seeing events inside a traffic acquisition report > event dropdown. I'm not seeing them in the Engagement > Events report or in the admin events section. I'm losing my mind. Can someone explain that scenario?
