This is not a good tool you’re wind up paying a lot for leads. Google allows companies to monopolize and businesses that are just starting they may have 3, 4, 5 reviews will pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars for leaves that are only worth half of what you paid for

Yea, I’ll be making a follow up video for this in 2021. Some things have changed. It’s not longer a fixed price but a bidding system similar to google ads. It looks to be integrating with many google my business listings. I have only seen that in the U.S so far. Lots more to come!! Thanks for the feedback!!

Pest control leads in dallas texas have gotten a little out of hand as of late. went from $25-35 per lead to over $45-60 per lead if you want consistent leads

These are great quesrions. As LSA recently changed to make a bidding structure it’s going to depend on what you set your cost per lead. In many cases like real estate cost per leads can run pretty high and with the new bidding structure it will depend on your competitors and a few other factors. I wish I could give you a solid answer but unfortunately it depends.

You can simply send the confirmation code to their address and then they can email it to you when they get it then simply add them as an owner once confirmed

Hey I just saw my company in your video hehehe. I noticed that I havent been getting as many calls as before when i started. My reviews are really good . I noticed a big drop. Not sure if covid-19 is effecting the drop in calls or is it because more competitors have signed up on the local services . Plesse let me know what you think. And also do you think traditional google ads are going to be less effective since google garaunteed is on the top now?

That is awesome. Small world we live in! Yea that's a tough question as there are many factors that can affect the performance. If we are talking strictly your Google Guaranteed Ads, I would guess more competition as more people sign up, as well as any restrictions you may have such as business hours. Some really important factors is getting reviews through Google Guaranteed instead of your GMB. It's essentially worth more and gives you a boost in Google Guaranteed. Unfortunately, it can give the larger businesses the upper hand as they have more chances for reviews. Google Ads less effective? I would say mainly no, As Google Guaranteed does not show up for all search terms and is not nearly as scalable as Google ads. On the keywords that the trigger Guarantee ads, for example "furnace companies city" I would say definitely yes it will decrease CTR's of the ads that show up underneath. One is not necessarily better to have than the other, it's more of using them together with SEO and GMB to dominate search results.

And do u think it's still effective to use the same keywords for adwords that trigger google garaunteed ads? Or should I just focus on the keywords that dont trigger google garaunteed

Ashton Miller would you mind me asking which business is yours? In terms of keywords, It’s targeting keywords that give you a positive ROI. Even if your CTR is reduced but it is still profitable to target than definitely use those terms! 👍🏻👍🏻

in my experience i only pay if a job is booked not just if they leave a message you are saying even just a message is a lead and we pay for leads ?

Hi there, Absolutely some companies may charge per lead (sold job) however, I typically refrain from this method for a few reasons. 1. A. sold or booked job is dependant upon some factors that are out of the lead generation companies' control. These are things like your timeliness, product, promotions, and price. All things that determine what your close rate would be. If 'Company A' closes leads(opportunity for a sold job) at 30% and 'Company B' closes those same leads at 60%, the same effort is required by the lead generator and thus, they shouldn't be required to be pay per sold job. If this logic was the case. then the lead generation company should hypothetically charge more per lead if 'Company A' can't meet a sales% threshold. This, of course, is not something either provider will agree to and it may lead to pointing fingers. "these leads suck" or "you need to be faster at replying" etc. 2. You'll notice that Google and Facebook would never agree to this method as these channels are simply a place for opportunity. You pay them to generate an "opportunity" for a job. What you do with that opportunity is up to you. The only time you may see this 'paying for sold jobs' is typically a referral system. Where you would only get paid if I refer yous someone who moves forward with a job. Let me know what your thoughts are and whether you have had good or bad experiences with either method.

Yeah not fair to the people providing the leads... if the provider doesn’t answer their phone, that’s on them. This is why we actually book the appointments for clients.

Hey Ryan, Great questions. According to LSA's you only pay when you receive a lead. This includes... -You receive a text message or email from the customer (US only). -You receive a voicemail from the customer. -You answer a phone call and speak with the customer. -You receive a missed call (without a voicemail), and you return the customer’s message with a text message, email or call where you either speak with the customer or leave a voicemail. support.google.com/google-ads/answer/7195435

Great question! Unfortunately no, this is the limitation of google local service ads. You can pick from a list of job types but they choose the keywords for that. From what I have seen they are using the larger volume, and more popular keywords. This still leaves big opportunities for traditional Google Search ads.

It can be very difficult if you are up against larger competitors. Basically I follow the rule of thumb of making sure you are utilizing all of the tools that lsa gives you. Make sure your photos and everything are complete filled out etc. Google local service ads just introduced bidding as well so your bid will be a factor, your budget, your location to the the searcher and how often you are getting reviews. I have also heard that whether you are answering the calls might also be a factor. If you nail all of the above you’ll have a better chance at getting into the first positions more often.

The higher your budget! I just complained that my badge is not showing for my business and I was informed that it is because I have reached my weekly budget and I have to either increase my budget or wait until next week for my badge to reappear!! What a scam! So it’s not a badge of trust it’s a badge that represents that you’re paying for leads!!!

I don’t believe so. They don’t go into the specifics of it on their help page but they mention “failing a background check” which I assume means having a criminal record / background. How far that goes I’m honestly not sure. For instance a dui being a criminal record whether or not that would be considered. If you have more specific questions I’d definitely reach out to google. The issue with Google Guarantee is that anyone can farm reviews. The service does not sticks to leads that you provided a service. Anyone can go on your Guaranteed profile and post FALSE or POSITVE reviews. Malicious competition, the average Karen or companies that make a living out of Ads management can create false profiles in matter of seconds and either hide your listing out of existance or boost it. The review team does close to nothing to verify the listings and they are never available on the phone and when they reply your email is always to indicate that the review does not violate policy even thought is a false review spreading false information

Unfortunately this is part of having an online business. The pros of getting as many positive reviews and exposure as possible heavily outweighs the cons of dealing with fake or spammy reviews. Not everyone is comfortable but I do agree that there is very little you can do about spammy reviews.

to me google ads are just a waste of money and google guaranteed has to be to if they charge you for call's from marketing companies or clicks from people that just clicked to for no reason specially because every call or click is like 5,7,10 dollars. it's basically another angies thumbtack or any other company like that that charges around 50 dollars for a bogus lead, where you waste 50 plus money on gas and your time going to see the job that you will not get because they were never interested on hiring someone.

Yea I can see where you are coming from but that’s the nature of the game. Google is still a business and trying to make money too.. they own where the attention is and they sell that. Angis list and thumbtack are similar but at least google ads (not local service ads) give you a chance to brand yourself through your website. Other platforms force customers to stay on theirs and then yea you’re just another number to the client. It’s really a game of numbers, how many bogus or low quality calls does it take to sell a big job. If you know that number and it makes you profit overall, why not. Even if 1/6 calls lead to a sold job, that would be $300 total spend. If that sold you a $10,000+ job would you take? Most would.

Your information here is wrong. They are not cheep. The average cost per lead and junk removal is 28. Google just stole $5600 from me charging me $97 per lead and I was only able to get five of them. I had a bunch of them, asking me for donations, which I do not except, but I was charged for, and Google denied my claim to getting my money back. Also, if you have any type of fraudulent activity or anything, google demand you pay them and then they will reimburse you a month later.

Google guaranteed will cost you $400.00 dollars a month plus $30.00 a lead so that means you have make customers pay extra not good for small businesses . I see this as modern day extortion. Not good for business period .

Jesse Bam-bam there shouldn’t be any $400 a month cost? It should only cost $30 per lead. Unfortunately, Any lead generation service will cost you money. $30 is actually quite low when you look at the data of average costs. www.housecallpro.com/learn/lead-generation-report/ If your looking to win by being the lowest price then unfortunately advertising of any sort will increase the price that you may sell your products at and ultimately what the customer will pay.

Sorry buddy your wrong..you obviously never used them..If you know anything about paying for ads or help most ads ask for customer information and you have to call the. Problem is they give out there info to multiple business and your stuck competing with others but this happens like this if a customer sees your add they call you...i have people call me all the time some leave a voice mail i convert 50% of all my calls into a job..my average job is $500 so at $30 a lead landing 1 of 2 cost me $60 to make $500

@@creolecajun9988 Exactly. As much as we don’t want it to happen, customers have a tendency to shop around, get 3 quotes etc. It’s a game of numbers. If you know your cost per lead, your close rate % and how much profit you have per job you can spend whatever you need to fill your schedule because you know you will make money. Pretty simple.

Mary Poppins oh I agree 100%. Many see it as a one or the other. I find it’s more supplementary. In reality, local service ads are no where near as scalable or have as much control as google AdWords. Local service ads don’t show for majority of search queries. Can it add additional work to existing google AdWords leads? Absolutely! I think it’s worth adding in.
