Great overview layout Chris. Quick question on the branded YT channel for the local business - we’ve seen YT randomly terminate a lot of these channels for “violation of community guidelines” when they are mostly made up of these keyword type videos and playlists etc. Seems to be related to the limited engagement the videos and channel gets over time, possibly? Do you have a strategy when working with a local business that does not also produce their own videos etc. to keep the channel safe from YT deciding it’s just thin content and suspending it?

branded channels that are verified with the same g mail that make keyword / branded content fly by just fine , its when people make 1,000's or even 100's of vides targeting every variation of the keyword where you see issues.

Chris thank you for this . This was your best ever performance i am a "GMB " disciple however this was the best ever presentation on GMB optimization presentation. It is still a amazing opportunity you know in Australia people would hear this be skeptical hicks not believe it so that's why its "f them " . Use this knowledge to my own assets all this is not a debate i just cannot get used to people not believing this is true this is so obvious in broad daylight. Great info Chris Palmer. I have one question for you. If i embed the map direction from my competitor GBM map to my GMB map, i'm afraid the RANKING for my competitor will increase instead of my Map. is that right?

When you are talking about "competitors", do you mean the number 1 organic competitor for the search term (this could possibly be a national/global corp.) or do you mean the #1 competitor that shows up in the local pack (this will more likely be another brick and mortar local biz that I'm actually competing with)? im interested in embedding the q and a , from the gmb to a FAQ page on my website im confused at what link you are talking about, when you say : 'go to where your reviews are, where your question and answers are, Get that link'... what link is being refereed to here, is it a link from within the gmb account or another place? embedding a map is easy embedding reviews is easy , i believe there is widgets for that the only trouble im having is with embedding the questions and answers link? is there specially a code or link or some kind for this? or could you possibly mean embed by just copying and pasting all the words? any help greatly appreciated

Use a desktop/laptop using GMB and click on the "Share" button you see in questions and you can add it to your webpage to interlink the two.

You can embed by using the URL or perhaps with the share code , but when viewing these assets the URL changes use the URL to create your frame / embed

I have just started a service business and just set up my gmb and now looking to set up my google maps. I do not want people coming to my (home) address is there any way I can pin point my service areas?

You CAN setup GMB to just display your city and phone. There is a specific section that asks "do you deliver goods and services to customer at their address" rather than advertising your home office address. It will be less SEO friendly than NAP you can plaster all over the web. But it is a hurdle that can be overcome.

I don't get it. In some videos, you say that you should only have one service and category and utilize products to promote primary services. But in this video, you're doing the opposite and creating a bunch of services and products. Can you help me understand where you stand on this?
