They are just apple boys, they have to find a way to make apple win In pixel 3 when they put the same notch with the same sensors, they bullied Google and on pixel 4 when they kept the tech but made its upper bazzel big, they bullied Google again And now apple is the only company with the biggest notch aka dynamic Island on smartphone But no one talks about how much it blocks your screen when watching content

Dude you intentionally tried to make the sensor not register 😂. I got the phone yesterday and just like the 7 pro. It reads my fingers wet or with latex gloves almost never misses. Some of y'all influencers need to cut it out. I watch you guys videos but I never base my decision off of your reviews. I get hands on time in store and make my decision.

I upgraded to the 8 pro from the 6 pro and the fingerprint scanner is so much improved. It never misses anymore, and the face scanning is great even if it isn't as "secure" as face ID.

You can adjust the blur in cinematic mode on pixel while recording as well. Pixel has exposure setting in camera app to raise it to your liking while recording. Its there in night sight mode as well for photos and video.

Can't we just appreciate android, be it a Samsung or a Google phone, for what they bring to the table? I like apple, don't hate it.. but I like the pixels UI and little details more. The only thing I don't like about Apple vs android is that everybody thinks if you don't have apple you're phone isn't good, or you're poor. Both completely false. In the end pick what you enjoy and are happy with. 🍻

I swear, I've been using the Google 7 fingerprint scanner and have never.. ever experienced a problem. All I did was register my clean thumb twice.. it's been fast and reliable.

I found my pixel 6 one works perfect. Without a screen protector. The addition of a protector does affect it, but it just takes longer rather than failing to identify.

It's actually great. It's not as quick as ultrasonic but the accuracy is 100% in my experience.

Saf you've come a very long way. I remember watching your videos from when you first started your channel you used to have a bias opinion heavily against the iphone and ios devices in general but watching this video your opinion has completely changed your reviews have become much more fair and not bias towards one platform. Not sure when this change happened along the way somewhere but you've really matured since and I truly enjoy watching your later videos. You've earned yourself a sub again after many years. Not sure if it means anything obviously you're not struggling to get subs but just thought I would mention this. Great job on the comparrison.

hello, I would like to know how scrolling behaves on applications like Opera, Edge, Facebook. because I use an Android with the Soc snapdragon 865+. The scrolling is very fluid and soft with Qualcomm shares. But I read some feedback and apparently on Tensors, it's not always very smooth and fluid. Other comments say the opposite. Knowing that I doubt that developers optimize their applications on Tensors. I'm very hesitant between Pixel or an iPhone but on the one hand, IOS is quite closed (especially with Windows 11) and on the other, Android is more open but less well optimized.

I tried out the P8P for 48 hours, absolutely loved it. But I'm so deep in the Apple ecosystem with Ipads, AppleTV, wife and kids with Iphones that I really cant keep it. I love Android, but when I have to tell my wife and kids to install "Meet" to facetime me it just sits wrong. Its just easier for me to use the inferior Iphone to keep the peace unfortunately.

Finally decided to switch to iPhone for the first time in like 15yrs... Basically to appease my wife for ease of FaceTime and texting videos clearly (opposed to using GoogleMeet and having to send videos on something like FB messenger to keep resolution). Also apparently to have blue text bubbles instead of green? 😒 Really want this P8P for the AI, assistant, and bundle of features.. I truly like the pics better also. Only thing iPhone has had camera-wise is smoother vids and prob crisper/more natural portraits. I had a Pixel 3XL and it was my favorite phone by far until the battery crapped out and died exactly 2yrs in... Switched back to a Samsung Note 20 Ultra bc of a deal at the time and pissed about the battery timeline. Hate these samsung phones. Thought I convinced myself to go back to iPhone for simplicity and polished apps/performance, but man I think Google's P8P is the way to go... iPhone 15 Pro Max just arrived... Now to try and convince myself it was the right choice OR risk breaking the news to my wife that I can't go through with it after I finally caved 😅🥴😬

I had the S 21 ultra but I had some real bad reception problems when I would go down south and visit my family. I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to upgrade to the S 23 ultra or purchase the iPhone 15 Pro Max or maybe wait a couple weeks later and try out the Google eight Pro. The iPhone advertisements caught my attention and I’m familiar with Apple so that’s the way I went. My reception problems have been solved and the performance has been excellent with the only thing the phones lacking is more zoom. I may hold onto this phone for a year and if the 16 promax has at least 50 X zoom then that’s probably what I would go with, but if not, Samsung or Google, depending on what Google does will probably be where I end up as they are excellent systems as well!

Great video this. I bought the Pixel 8 pro. Apple was off my shopping list simply for not having a SIM card tray. If they brought back the sim tray I’ll buy one again. In the meantime I still have a 13 pro max if I want to switch it out.

Its sad that google can slap a thermometer in pixel 8 pro, which nobody wanted or asked, but they can not acomodate a SD card slot. These companies stripping away popular features like headphone jack or sd card slot, makes me look toward sony xperia 1 v. If sony promised 5years of software n security, i would buy it at any price at all. Please compare google pixel 8 pro, vs sony experia 1 v, vs samsung s23 ulta, in terms of user experience, UI, in hand feel, features, battery drain time, thermal management, and value for money. I ll buy one of these 3. Waiting for response. Thanx

I have purchased iPhone 14 plus and lightning to 3.5 mm audio jack and a samsung Ehs-64 earphone everything works fine except the volume button didn’t work with this device and whenever i call someone and keep my microphone closer to mouth the i can hear my own whispering and if i talk with it then my voice keeps breaking please help

Hey Bro nice work! Can you please test the screen display of the pixel 8 pro ? I noticed that the screen is so dark when it's on 50% brightness (comparing to the S23 ultra which is much brighter --- 40% Brightness on S23 ultra = 70% of Brightness on pixel 8 pro // however, on 100% they are identical). I am not sure but in the 48 Vs 12 MP comparison it's quite obvious the pixel got more details🧐and the zoom on the side by side wasn't even on the same scaling factor, the iPhone have a lot less zoom..

Google has to keep grinding away, but when the Tensor G4/G5 get performance and efficiency parity, watch out. That will mean a smaller battery, and consequently, a more compact device - be it smaller, or thinner. I expect the gap between these two devices to close in another 2 years, and Pixels start taking the lead in terms of software features.

All these devices are capable of playing some console games. They have been scoring higher on geekbench than the ps4 for years now. So it's on developers and optimization. Besides with streaming services like game pass and how it study improves, you can already play console games without having it take up memoery on your device.

I traded in the Pixel 7 Pro to get the Pixel 8 Pro, and let me tell y'all that it is a MASSIVE difference! It has a WAYYYYYYYY higher screen brightness, better speakers, better performance, faster charging, a FLAT display so now I can ACTUALLY use tempered glass screen protectors, and the screen doesn't randomly dim like it did on the Pixel 7 Pro!

I'm torn. I have a pixel 6 pro and love android 14 with call screening, system wide translation, the A.I. smarts , and with the Pixel 8 pro, the hardware has improved, especially with the flat screen now. But, I'm somewhat drawn with the iPhone with things such as iMessage, Apple Pay to others, a little bit more solid hardware, better and more secure face unlock, Apple Card with instant cash back with the option of it being deposited to a savings account. Both have great stuff. Google sure has matured for sure.

Being a huge music fan that owns thousands of files,I love that with Android I can just copy and paste my music.Putting my files into an IPhone is nearly impossible.No one mentions this.I hate ITunes and IOS limitations in general.

I used to do that a couple months ago between my android and my iPhone but I realized quickly that I preferred android all the way, now the iPhone is going to my mom's hands while I just got my pixel 8 pro.

I'd guess not that many (relatively speaking). People tend to pick one and roll with it. Especially if you're into the whole ecosystem thing or smart homes. Too much of a pain to switch back and forth. If anything, my guess would be that Android people would juggle around phones more often. From Samsungs to Pixels to Motorolas or whatever. Most of your accessories should still work because it's all still Android, ya know? Just my $0.02.

Switched from P30 Pro to 14 Pro a year ago; never really felt the 'logic' of iOS. Now I'm on Pixel 8 Pro / 14 Pro. Android feels snappier, the settings menu and photos are way better organized. I like the convenience of simple things like moving an app icon on the home screen to wherever you want, or being able to independently adjust volume of ringer, media, alarm and notifications. Face ID on 14 Po is unrivaled however: faultless in darkness or when wearing sunglasses, whereas Pixel 8 Pro is lagging waaay behind, especially in less than optimal brightness. The camera of the Pixel is superior, reminds me of my P30 Pro. I would have sold my 14 Pro if the Pixel 8 Pro wasn't so damn big...

I think the Google Pixel 8 oversharpens the pictures, more than the earlier Pixel Phones do. The 24MB resolution gives much better detail in the Iphone pictures.

It's something how people who have iPhones think that iPhones are the best phones, but they never take the time to realize that the person who doesn't have an iPhone. They may have a Samsung or Google and they may think that their phone is better than iPhone. It's all a choice of preference. I've had them all and I personally prefer Motorola. Believe it or not.😂

Those who have a PS5, Series X, or PC will and do not care about playing “console-level games” on an iPhone. Significantly, when the screen dims within 8 minutes of play 🙄

Wish you tubers put more emphasis on connectivity and battery life. I really want to know if the pixel 8 pro fix those issues. Hate seeing that "!" from time to time. Also I want to know which phone would have better and stronger connection if going to a remote or rural area of town.

Battery life and connectivity are great for me. I'm coming from an iPhone 13 Pro Max. The iPhone is of course better, but honestly it was overkill for me anyway since I couldn't get it below 50% most days. I don't have any battery anxiety after going to the Pixel 8 Pro.

I like the screen's width on Iphone more as its more comfortable to write, and the speaker I think is better on iPhone and maybe the camera, but regarding software I like it more on pixel and it is more fairly priced, also it has smaller notch

Looking at this Portrait photos gimmick on smartphones for years now (since 2016?). No matter how much the edge detection, details or depth of field improve - man, it still looks fake and average at best.

I'm still using Pixel 4a too. Great little phone for the money, but is starting to miss some phone calls and getting a little screen glitch when unlocking. Looking at the Samsung S23 and Pixel 8.

When you Register Your fingers prints On Any Pixel Device First 4 to 5 Days It Sucks and Do not works properly but After a week it works properly and never makes a single fault because your pixel recognize your thumb and it takes some days its kind of weird thing to hear but its my personal experience and also enable protector mode and Touch Sensitivity And Register your Fringer pring Twice. It will work for you .

How some of these so called "tech reviews" are even in this business baffles me. Imagine not knowing how to use a fingerprint scanner. Even my mum knows how to use it.
