Wiz has $350 million in revenue. This means that the deal is worth 60 times this. The only way that this deal makes sense is if Wiz, in the near future, has revenue that’s, say, ten or twenty times its present revenue.

and sometimes it's not exactly about the revenue, but about the technology. if Google think it would take them too long, and maybe not at least at the same quality, and not having a quality solution in time to get an edge for the customers - it could be logical to just buy a working and successful company that already knows how google's system work.

@@eitan71 I work at a startup that has unique IP. That is, we have a competitive advantage over our competitors because of it. If you could recommend an article that quantifies what you've described, I'd appreciate it.
