The fact that a top-level forehand player on the tour can take a quick tip from Uli and it fixes his sidearm is amazing. It shows everyone can learn at all levels, and sometimes a quick tip can help anyone.

The bolt thing, Goose is right, it's an easy fix...double sided hex bolt, flush or near, and the problem is solved. DD or whomever could bang out 36 sets in no time on a CNC.

I gotta admit, there's not a single time I see those skinny tee pads and not think to myself...why?! I've been to dozens of middle of nowhere courses that will never sniff even an A tier event and they have LONG and WIDE tee pads.

Lol! I was following Jerm at the Green Mountain Championship and there was also a discussion during a back up about the baskets and how change is needed to certain things. It's definitely a secondary passion

Ball golf does have a similar issue to spit outs in disc golf though it isn't as prominent. It has to do with how sharp the cut is for the cup. If the hole is fresh cut and sharp, so long as the ball has more than 50% overhanging the hole AND is not hit too hard, it will drop in. But that same shot on a warn hole that the edge is rounded the ball will curve around the rim and not drop in.

You know, I love seeing all these special guests, but the golden years are behind us on these rounds. Seeing Jerm and Uli go back and forth, just the two of them jabbing here and there....was better content than now IMHO. I understand getting more pros exposure, and these are great dudes, but Im already nostalgic for for the OG practice rounds.

Agree with Gossage that the most important thing with baskets is consistency. However they catch, you don't want random spitouts because a chain got stuck

The unpredictability is a problem. Yall are bang on. A basket can do 500 different things when a disc hits. What Uli is talking about actually goes back to tonals. We use refurbished painted propane tanks, and you always no when you get it. You just have to touch the zone. And it makes an amazing sound from 256 feet. And there is no denying it. It doesn't hit clean in the middle and bounce out like a chain basket. It is definite, every time. I prefer tonals. You can't have a perfect shot unpredictably spitting out. Your relying on luck, and taking away from skill. Get em Goose!

Paul makes such a good point about tee pads. I almost always throw on the side of tees just because I fractured and ankle slipping on a tee and also watched a buddy tear his meniscus slipping on a tee. I have a hard time trusting tee pads now, especially when wet.
