the video was cut while the water goes past the camera and they added a different video of the same thing but with a clean table

They recorded it two times One Time with dirt on it and one Time without Then they put the two Clips together so that it Looks like everything was taken away by the water

Everyone knows GoPro products can handle things like that. That sort of thing doesn't break the cameras. It's the extreme use that does, and that's what I would like to see tested.

what about more extreme tests like falling on it or drop tests,lens durability and from personal experience I've fucked up a couple of the gopro mounts when I go mountain biking

"Durable" doesn't exactly come to mind when I think about this camera. Snowboarding this season I threw it down to my friend at the bottom of a cliff to film my drop and the impact from him catching it not only dented it somehow but corrupted the previous, current, and next file. Missed some great clips

I ran over my Hero 4 Black with my car like an idiot and it still works. I also threw a rock towards my GoPro Hero 3 Black and accidentally hit it and that survived. My case still has a scratch on it and my tripod broke, but I got a pretty sweet slow motion video out of it. This "durability test" did not really show how tough these cameras are.

Can the Hero 4 Silver survive that stuff? I have one, and it works great already. It's hit a tree at 20 miles an hour and it was fine.

i crashed on my bike, and noticed that there is a dent on the back plate, since then, the adhesive that sticks the backplate to the main body failed.. got moisture on the control pannel, and gopro didnt accept it for warranty.

sup3rdim yes it can, if you go to Amazon the reviews(QandA) a person asks could it survive a shot to the lense and GoPro said lol yes it can check out the vids on youtube. So... That's why I am here
