My trees arent as tall but Im lucky to be in northern ontario. The snow has just gone away and its time to get into the bush. When Im out there Im so relaxed being away from all the electricity and noise from the cars. I know how you feel bro. So much more peaceful out there in the wild.

GoPro *NEEDS* to make their own spherical camera made of one camera. They were the ones that somewhat set off the spherical filming but other companies are passing them with their own spherical camera. So why buy what, 6 GoPros for ONE Spherical rig or.... ya know, just one device.

Andrew Rigg no way, if somebody wanted a 360 rig now they would buy Samsung's, Sony, or other company's 360. Therefore GoPro loses money because they'd lose sales UNLESS they had their own 360 camera.

+GoPro - The Slider is a good idea, but this Video screams "Cable Cam"; not too hard to run a rope from tree to tree and let the Camera dolly slowly through the Forest from 100 feet up.

A while ago I made a music video for Amarante using my own footage. I traveled around San Martin de los Andes (Argentina) and got as much raw footage of nature as I could in three days For a videographer there nothing like this. It's just an Incredible expirence. To travel arround trying to find the perfect shot in each place you visit is about the most eye opening experience I've ever experince as an aspiring film maker. You really have no power over the lighting or secenery so you can only frame what nature provides and that's whats so cool about it :)

why does anyone think that fish eye lenses are any good?

Fisheye's usually let you record at 180 degrees. So you can capture more in a frame.

+fatsamcastle Because for action videos you can capture so much more if the camera is attached close to the body or gear. And for other videos you can easily correct the fisheye in post. That's why!
