As a kid, I thought it was the coolest thing ever to have a rear driver like that. In my child mind the fire truck was part semi frame.. LOL.. As a adult I still thing the tillers are cool :) ... It is cool to see the POV from a rear driver like that, I hope there is more content like this.

One of the coolest videos yet. First time I have seen a video by the tillerman on a ladder truck. Neat to see how he steers around turns. Need more of them.

He’s checkin his active 911 to try to get more information on the Structure Fire they are en route to. He’s only on it for a few seconds and then he puts it down and puts both hands on the steering wheel.

Wym why does he have the a steering wheel is that’s it, it’s bc the back of the tiller truck turns via back driver aka him in video it helps get though tight streets etc

It gives the ladder guy something to do so his hands don't get cold to climb the ladder safely. .p
