@Pigs and Pipes then they don't exist. The environment doesn't need them, I don't see what the issue is. I'm not saying I don't care because I do but they were a mistake to nature in the places they are at and are best left as they are: some being wild and some being adopted.

): i am so sorry that has happened. i've had immense respect & admiration for horse-people my entire life, but because of living conditions & family finances was never able to afford one, or to learn to ride (fully, properly). i was fortunate to ride on three rare separate occasions as a child, & i used to earnestly pray to have a life with horses! as i got older, i kind of had to bury that hope. red dead redemption II reawoke it, & is pitifully how i can have a horse vicariously. even so, i am definitely aware of the constraints & limitations. all this to say, i think you're blessed & rad as heck, regardless of red dead's creation! horses & so much human history interwoven with them came long, long before red dead, & is so essential. we wouldn't have red dead without such history, the horses themselves, & the overall mystique involved in these things. 🥺 if anything, they need more people to care about them & their collective well-being as a species.

Excellent idea! I encourage everyone to do the same! And, also support the SAFE Act so we can insure that our own government doesn’t destroy them, healthy herd breeding, and the quality of their lives. What Animals do you think of when you think of the US? The Bald Eagle, the Buffalo, (which we already almost wiped off the face of the planet until enough people said NO, STOP!) and the Horses…. Like he says, “Without them, where would we be?” And what do they ask of us? Freedom and the Land set aside meant for them… They aren’t starving, they aren’t walking into public camp grounds, oh wait that was a giant herd of privately owned Cattle. The LAND is what the arguing is really about. Read between the lines. Who stands to gain if the herds are dwindled down to unhealthy #’s so that they can then claim to be humane, we should just put all of them out of their misery… Who stands to gain in this hypothetical scenario? Privately owned Livestock Ranchers, whether Cattle, Sheep, they’ve been slowly moving into the Land meant for Wildlife for decades… I think it’s reminiscent of what Colonists did to the Indigenous Peoples who were the first Citizens of this Land. And, they didn’t need us either, we needed, used them, lied to them, drove them to desolation, destruction. When we were done using them MANY of our most famous Presidents, Historical Figures were all in favor of assimilation of what they referred to as “The Savages”. They should have said the Native Peoples who shared everything they had w/us and we repaid them by betraying their trust and attempting to destroy their Culture and Religion. One famous Pres said we must force them to learn to live by our rules of civilized society. Of the 2 groups? Colonists were the Savages, they were for the most part living in peace amongst themselves. You would know more if they hadn’t left EVERYTHING about them out of the History Books in the US Educational System. We attempted to wipe these people off the face of the earth. Sound familiar? Of course we know lots about the Natzi’s whose asses we kicked. But how well do you remember why thousands upon thousands of young people died? I’m sure you were told more about that which should never be repeated. But, long before Hitler showed up, the Colonists were committing genocide. And now, it’s a different species, but hubris and ego will be the death of us all if we don’t change how we think and how we live. What should matter to us? People should matter, and then other LIVING Beings, not just those we domesticated for our own selfish reasons. But ALL Wildlife SHOULD matter more than the 12oz steak that you could easily survive w/only half or less and be healthier and live longer for it. Why are Humans so flawed that we can’t admit our mistakes and do our best to correct them. Please look into the Save the Wild Mustang Links attached to this & other important videos about this urgent issue. Lives are depending on you to care enough to learn about it, teach the children about it… And fire some people working in a corrupt group who have private interests making choices for them… Thank you for reading my rant if you did. I mean no disrespect, especially to the Veterans and Service Members of the US Military. Among whom are made up of MANY Indigenous People who are proud to serve their Country. Remember the bad people are very good at directing your attention to something much less important, while they are lying, stealing, and killing just other behind that hill where they think we don’t see them. MANY of us SEE them and we pay them to be honest w/our taxes, not do corrupt things because it’s easy to get away w/it. I’m just begging everyone not to let them fool us by distracting us w/much least urgent issues while we let them kill off entire Species of Wildlife. They are NOT “Feral”. The Earth and Science are telling us the Truth, finally. That which the Native Peoples have always known. There were horses on the plains before any pale faces showed up. The horses were here BEFORE most of our Ancestors got here. IF they are Feral, so are we! Please read about their welfare and if you can write your Gov Reps who are paid w/your money, tell them to stop killing the US Wild Horses and Burros, please. I ask you respectfully. Thank you for reading and any assistance you might provide even if but your voice and your votes.

This video made me cry. I don't know why. If they were happy tears, then it's because this is such a beautiful sight, the way the horses trust the man and you see how man and nature connect in this simple way, in the middle of "nowhere" (ironically our idea of "nowhere" is where everything happens). If they were sad tears, then it's because of my personal yearning for a freedom like those horses, where we just run in a pack, in a group, as a family. One big family, nature and me.

They're not wild, they're feral. The one remaining group of "wild" horses is being reintroduced into the wild in Europe, but the Americas have no wild horses, just escaped domesticated horses. (That said, there's some evidence now that even the "wild" Przewalksi horse may actually be feral too, lost from long dead ancestors.)

It brings tears to my eyes watching this. So many overwhelming emotions. The footage of a herd of mustangs in the open with the sounds of it blending with the rolling thunder. If that's not the sense of wild nature and freedom, Idk what is. We wouldn't get to see that, confined in our glass and concrete jungles, if it wasn't for people like you! Then there's the love. Love for nature, for life, for your family. Idk how to express it in words better, all I can say is thank you, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!

WILDMUSTANGX Technically these horses are feral horses and not "wild" horses. They are runaways from domesticated horses that bred. We technically were the ones that put them there a couple hundred years ago. Half of them are from military remount horses that were released. I don't like the fact that we have to round them up, but sadly we do. They destroy the land/ecosystem when they become too populated (since they are not naturally part of the ecosystem) and since we destroyed their natural predators such as wolves in these areas, there is nothing to keep the population from exploding except widespread disease. Thankfully, the collected horses make wonderful and happy mounts (for both english and western riders!) and the non-adopted usually go to long-term holding facilities which are basically as if they were wild again.
