Yep Gordy is deep in several ways. He's one of the most intelligent men. Many of his observations are spot on.

Kevin's wife died when their kids were young. So his son Billy would be at his dad's Broncos training sessions from a very young age and probably got close to some of the players. Gordy being one. Then talking about Billy's debut in the NRL it hit Gordy in the feels
