He never says “I” won three stars, but “We” won three stars. He talks a lot about how you need others to make your dream come true. He also never wore a white apron, but a dark blue one with white stripes, because he didn’t consider himself as a true head chef. He was extremely hard, but fair. Never fails to acknowledge the work of people around him.

After a month I was learning stuff and making stuff and he was incredibly talented. Once he thought he was to rough on me and I told him don't. I liked I didnt have to guess. If it was important he made it clear. Scream at me all day. Share a pint off the clock. I see that sort of thing with Mr White and Mr Ramsey. @anveshnidumolu36799 ай бұрын
Right, but please tell me about this poem or short passage.
@williamowings68579 ай бұрын
@@anveshnidumolu3679It's more of a "Proverb". (Proverb... "saying" for proverb is slang) It's a play on words to be more memorable. It basically means an old wise friend that isn't a blood relative can be close as a father and you should seek out as many as possible to learn from experience. Obviously I am lucky my father was a good man and learned a lot from him as well but had good advise from many older men and they become dear friends as close as "blood" ...realitives. And as I grew from a young man into an experience man. I have many sons. I technically have 6 daughters I love very much. But I have no sons by "blood". We didn't physically have a boy just girls. But I have sons as I mentored and taught many boys things and we have a bond that's like a father and son as friends now. In my culture "Uncle" is a title of respect for a man that fills that role when a biological father isn't present by choice or by death. So I would say I have many fathers because I have many older men as friends as close as fathers I can depend on. And I have many sons to teach and care for as sons even though my wife and I only brought daughters into the world. I adore our girls of coarse and they married very good men I refer to as Sons even though we are not blood realitives. I hope that makes sense. I didn't write that passage myself... it was a quote one of my grandfather's said I remember and took to heart in my life. If you have more questions please ask and I will try to explain it in a more understandable way. I would be happy to. I'm bilingual and really appreciated people's help to understand more as I learn other languages myself. English is my native language. Please feel free to ask me as many questions as you like. I would be happy to try and answer them and be a help. 😊
