I like how you can hear every little squeak and rattle of the chains. Much better sound directing than most movies from this era.

Dude was going around owning people with his swords for years, he never knew someone would make a whole style and weapon just to f him up 😂 dude had a bad day lol

Its a pretty cool ending. We know the headbutt killed him. The revenge at this point is supplemental to the true point of this movie. The real triumph is when he masters the art.

I sort of like how it ends abruptly, like San-Te has grown so strong and powerful that it’s a waste of the viewer’s time to exaggerate the fight beyond the fact that he easily overpowered the general

Those "fighting sticks" he made himself are 🐐, pretty much perfectly balanced for offense *and* defense

Those "fighting sticks" are called a "three section staff." I had one when when I was a teenager, but I couldn't find enough room to practice it lol. Pretty cool weapon nonetheless.

When I first watched the movie, I thought the video at the end of the fight was glitching, but it turns out that that was meant to happen. It was a good fight scene, but the ending was unsatisfying for one of the most important parts of the movie.

I borrowed a copy from the library that was skipping throughout, I was convinced that’s not how the fight ends haha

The sequels ironically committed a similar mistake that The Matrix series would make in the future. It was the journey and growth that made the experience enticing, after all said and done, where else would we go?

Kind of an abrupt ending. :) Would love to see Gordon walking into the sunset.

To be fair, a whole lot of these kinds of films tend to end as soon as, or shortly after, the final blow is struck.

this was our only movie in kung fu terminology that didnt have to do with knives . it was the three stick nunchaka that made the difference after years of solitary training with the violin piano and guitar on Lawrence . not justin's laws.

I know that these are Chinese based martial arts, but random question: What is the difference of between the Nito Ryu with any fighting style with dual weapons like the opponent in red wielding twin Dao sabers shown in the video? Other than it's from a different culture. Plus I wouldn't mind seeing that twin Dao sword style go against Nito Ryu.
