Chef Ramsey is the reason I fell in love with cooking. I will never be a professional chef, but he has made me a better homechef. I did try culinary school. But honestly, it turned my passion for cooking into something I began to dread every day. I mean, I loved learning the various techniques and the once behind the food we eat. But I hated having to stop & take photos of every step of the process. It took away from the experience and the flavor I think. And I also hated that I continually got A's when I knew damn well Gordon would have spit it out. You can't learn from your mistakes if you are continually fed bullshit. I trusted our 12 year old sons opinion more than I did my chef instructors. He has no issue saying, "This lacks salt, Mom," or "You say you are inspired by Gordon Ramsey, and you watch how many cooking competitions? Thos Risotto tastes like you made it in 15 minutes " ❤😂. Anyway - I'd love to know what his proportions are for Chuck, ground beef & brisket .

that looks so good! I always just do thin burgers and season with salt and pepper . the grilling of the onion is truly a great tip, I like raw onions but on a burger they tend to take over and give me a bit of a belly ache. I am going to go grill some burgers buns and onions right now!
